There is no charge for SMS notification when opening an Agricultural Bank of China card.

Bring the cardholder’s ID card and bank card to the bank counter in person to activate the SMS reminder service, which is a paid service.

With the assistance of the bank lobby staff, copy the ID card and queue up to get the number.

Fill out an application form for business processing, select "SMS Reminder" in the business column of the application, and attach the commonly used mobile phone number that needs to be bound for receiving text messages. (If you have questions about other items in the application form, you can refer to the template provided by the bank, or you can consult the bank lobby manager.)

After the number is called, submit the bank card, original ID card, copy of ID card, Deliver the business application form to the counter staff to activate the SMS reminder service.

Note: SMS reminder is a paid service. Generally, it is valid for one year after being activated once. The service fee is two yuan per month and is deducted monthly. You need to apply for the service again after one year before you can continue to use it. If you have opened online banking, you can renew your business through online banking.
