Fetion sends instant and offline messages and short messages.

Talking between two people is the most basic function of Fetion. You can send messages to your friends through the Fetion PC client. If your friend is online via SMS, the message will be sent to the other party's mobile phone via SMS.

Select the friend who wants to initiate a conversation in the friend list, double-click or right-click "Send Instant Message" to open the dialogue window, enter the content in the message input area, and click "Send".

In the conversation, you can also use tools such as inserting expressions in the sending area, sending splash screens, pictures and screenshots to increase the interest of chatting.

Multiperson dialogue

Fetion PC client supports multi-person dialogue. You can initiate a conversation with up to 32 people, including yourself (participants must be online on a PC or mobile phone), or you can be invited to join a multi-person conversation.

Click the shortcut icon of "multiplayer session" in the client toolbar, then select the friend who wants to join the multiplayer session, and click the "OK" button to initiate the multiplayer session.

In addition, you can initiate multiplayer games in the following ways:

Click the "Invite Friends to Join the Session" shortcut icon on the toolbar in the existing two-person session window, then select the friends who want to join the multi-person session, and click "OK" to confirm the initiation of the multi-person session. Press Ctrl or Shift on the friends list to select multiple friends in batches, right-click and select "Initiate Multi-person Session" from the menu.

Stranger dialogue

Stranger conversation is a conversation between Fetion users who have no good relationship with you. You can start a conversation with a stranger who is not a good friend in your group; You can also start a stranger conversation with contacts in a stranger group. Double-click the stranger who wants to start a conversation, open the stranger dialogue window and start a stranger dialogue.

In order to avoid harassment, when initiating a stranger conversation for the first time, you need to enter the verification character and confirm it before sending a message to the stranger.

Stranger session settings

In the window "System Settings → Security Privacy → Anti-harassment Settings", you can set the authentication method for strangers to contact you according to your own needs (Figure 2).

In the group settings window, you can set whether strangers in this group are allowed to contact you (Figure 3).

The function of stranger dialogue window

Add Friends: Click the "Add Friends" button to add each other as friends.

Anti-harassment setting: click the "Anti-harassment setting" button and select from the pop-up drop-down menu: blacklist this person, block all conversations with strangers, and block conversations with strangers from this group (effective when strangers come from a certain group) (Figure 4).

Report: Click the "Report" button to report a stranger.

Send offline message

When your friend's message is online, if your message is not particularly urgent and you are worried about disturbing the other party, or your friend can't receive the message now, you can choose to send a message to your friend offline, and then receive your message through the client after your friend logs in to Fetion client next time. In addition, the Fetion message sent to offline friends will also be received when friends log in to Fetion next time.

You can send offline messages in the following ways:

Double-click a friend whose SMS is online or offline, open a dialogue window with the friend, and click the "Send Message" icon in the dialogue window (Figure 5) to switch to the mode of sending offline messages. After entering the message, click the "Send" button.

Send text messages to friends.

You can send short messages to your friends' mobile phones through the Fetion PC client. When a friend's short message is online, the message will be sent directly to the other party's mobile phone; When a friend logs in to the client, you can also send a message to the other party's mobile phone via SMS.

Select a friend in the friend list, right click, and select "Send mobile phone information → Send SMS" in the menu to open the conversation window for sending Fetion SMS, edit the SMS content in the message input area, and click the "Send SMS" button.

In addition, you can also send Fetion SMS in the following ways: in the friend list, double-click the friend whose SMS is online to open the conversation window for sending Fetion SMS, edit the SMS content in the message input area, and click the "Send SMS" button. In the double dialogue window with friends, click the "Send SMS" icon in the toolbar of the sending area to switch to the mode of sending Fetion SMS. After editing the message content in the information input area, click the "Send SMS" button.

Send yourself a short message.

Through the Fetion PC client, you can also send text messages to your mobile phone, open the avatar drop-down menu → send text messages to yourself (Figure 6).

In addition, you can send yourself short messages in the following ways:

Main menu → Tools → Send SMS to yourself.

In the buddy list, double-click your avatar.

In the friends list, right-click your avatar and select "Send SMS to yourself" from the menu. Through the above operation, open the SMS window, and the default recipient is yourself. Enter the message content, and click the "Send" button to confirm sending the message to yourself.
