Never use portable electronic devices such as mobile phones on the plane?

In recent years, with the increasing popularity of portable electronic devices, especially mobile phones, the use of mobile phones and other electronic devices on civil aircraft is also increasing, which has threatened flight safety. A great deal of evidence shows that the use of portable electronic devices such as mobile phones on airplanes will cause electromagnetic interference, which will lead to the failure of aircraft navigation equipment and autopilot system, seriously endangering aviation safety. Especially in the take-off, climb, approach and landing stages of the aircraft radio navigation and communication system, because the aircraft is at a low altitude, any electromagnetic interference may cause the consequences of aircraft crash and death. This problem has aroused widespread concern from all walks of life. 199 1 year, shortly after taking off from Bangkok, the computer on a Boeing 767-300 of a British airline suddenly started the thrust reverser, which caused the plane to crash and all 233 people on board were killed. The survey results show that the laptop, portable camcorder or mobile phone directly led to this serious air crash, because the most likely reason for the sudden loss of control of the computer on board was that the plane was seriously interfered by electronic equipment. The air crash in Brazil on 1996 and the air crash in Taiwan Province province on 1998 were also related to the use of mobile phones. In addition, there are some cases that have not caused serious accidents, but they are close to the edge of accidents. 1July, 999 1 1 day, when a flight was about to land at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, there was a track deviation of about 8 degrees. After discovering this situation, the captain immediately informed the flight attendants to check the cabin and found that four or five passengers were using mobile phones. After the flight attendants stopped it, the plane resumed its normal orbit landing. On June 8, 2000, shortly after a flight took off from Zhanjiang Airport, the captain suddenly found that the instructions of the plane's compass were seriously deviated from the plane's route, and the computer system showed that the plane was yawing 10 nautical mile. The captain immediately informed the flight attendants to check and found that passengers were using mobile phones. On February 13, 2000, during the approach of a flight at Zhengzhou Airport, the navigation signal was abnormal due to the use of a mobile phone on board, and the flight crew stopped it before landing. If the above-mentioned dangerous situation is not handled properly, the unit has experienced it and the consequences are unimaginable. So how do portable electronic devices such as mobile phones interfere with navigation systems? The devices that will cause electromagnetic interference to navigation system include active and passive signal transmitting devices, among which active signal transmitting devices such as mobile phones have a significant impact. According to international practice, the current navigation system channels are 1200 MHz, 1 10 MHz and 75 MHz respectively, and other generators are not allowed to use these channels. But at present, the channel of mobile phones such as GSM system is 800 MHz, CDMA system is 900- 1000 MHz, and PCS system is 1800 MHz, which is very close to the navigation system. Once the frequency of mobile phone changes, it is as dangerous as the frequency of electronic equipment on board. Other passive signal emitting devices, such as notebook computers, electronic game machines, video cameras, tape recorders, etc., will also cause interference due to the use of high-frequency clock oscillators. In addition, laser discs and optical disc equipment will generate short voltage pulses when the laser sensor reads information from the disc, which is enough to interfere with the electronic system under the cabin floor. Furthermore, even if the signal of electromagnetic interference is weak, if the user sits on the nose or there is nothing in front, it will directly affect the navigation system. Internationally, the civil aviation authorities and airlines in many countries, including the United States, Canada, the European Aviation Administration and New Zealand, have successively formulated relevant regulations and procedures to restrict the use of portable electronic devices. The Civil Aviation Administration of China has also formulated relevant regulations, requiring airlines to play a reminder to passengers to turn off their mobile phones before taking off. However, there are still some passengers who lack safety awareness and legal concept, and are indifferent to the crew's broadcasting, causing many dangers intentionally or unintentionally, and some are close to the edge of the accident, seriously endangering the lives and property of others. To this end, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, on the basis of referring to international practices and combining with China's actual situation, began to formulate regulations restricting the use of portable electronic devices such as mobile phones on airplanes. These Regulations will be reported to the State Council for promulgation and implementation as administrative regulations. On the basis of further improving legislation, the new regulations have increased penalties. According to Article 88 of the Civil Aviation Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), "Radio stations and other instruments and equipment used by any unit or individual shall not interfere with the normal use of special radio frequencies for civil aviation." According to Article 116 of Chapter II of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), "Whoever destroys a train, car, tram, ship or aircraft enough to overturn and destroy the train, car, tram, ship or aircraft, but has not caused serious consequences, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years." Article 119 stipulates that "whoever destroys means of transport, traffic facilities, power equipment, gas equipment and inflammable and explosive equipment, thus causing serious consequences, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years, life imprisonment or death." The use of portable electronic devices such as mobile phones on an airplane may cause the airplane to capsize, which should be regarded as an illegal act and constitute a crime of endangering public safety. Here, once again advise all passengers, for the safety of your life and property, please don't use portable electronic devices such as mobile phones on the plane, and don't cause irreparable losses to others and society because of personal convenience, and bring unnecessary troubles to you and your family. What is more serious is that you may have to bear compensation and criminal responsibility.
