Notice of Xinxiang Municipal People's Government on the implementation of motor vehicle single and double number restrictions in urban areas

In order to effectively reduce motor vehicle pollution emissions, actively respond to the current severe atmospheric environment situation, and continuously improve the ambient air quality in our city, according to the requirements of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Air Pollution Prevention Law, the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws, regulations and documents, the municipal government decided to implement motor vehicle odd and even number restrictions in urban areas. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Forbidden area

Roads west of the old national highway 107, south of the North Ring Road, north of the South Ring Road and east of the West Ring Road are restricted.

Second, the time limit.

Starting from 0: 00 on February 4, 2022, it will be restricted for 2 days from 0: 00 am to 24: 00 every day, and the ban will be lifted at 0: 00 on February 6, 2022.

Third, restrictions.

According to the last Arabic numeral of the motor vehicle number plate, one-day and two-day driving is implemented. Specifically: the motor vehicle number plate with a single tail number travels in a single day; Motor vehicle license plate with double tail number, driving on the road for two days.

Vehicles not restricted by single and even numbers:

1 Military vehicles, police cars, fire engines, ambulances and engineering rescue vehicles.

2. Buses, buses and taxis.

3. The exterior of the car body shall be painted with unified signs such as sanitation, gardening, municipal heating, water supply, power supply, gas supply, oil supply, communication, postal service, mortgage, insurance survey, news interview and medical waste transfer vehicle.

4. Administrative law enforcement vehicles and special vehicles for clearing obstacles painted with uniform signs and performing official duties.

5. New energy vehicle special number plate New energy vehicle.

6. Funeral vehicles in funeral homes.

Fourth, during the restricted period, advocate green travel, and take buses in urban areas for free.

Five, the majority of traffic participants should consciously abide by the provisions of this notice, choose the mode of transportation in advance, reasonable planning of travel routes.

Six, in violation of the provisions of this notice, the traffic management department of the public security organ will be punished according to law.
