Article 5

Military service is divided into active service and reserve service. Active servicemen of China People's Liberation Army; After registration, those who are pre-determined to serve in active service, join the reserve forces, join the militia for reserve service or serve in other forms are called reservists.

Article 22

When a soldier retires from active service and meets the requirements for reserve service, the army shall determine to serve in the soldier reserve service; Those who are qualified to serve as officers after assessment shall serve in the officers' reserve.

Soldiers who have retired from active service and are confirmed by the army to serve in the reserve service shall register for reserve service with the military service organs of their counties, autonomous counties, cities and municipal districts within 40 days from the date of retirement.

Article 50

After the state has issued a mobilization order, people's governments at all levels and military organs at all levels must quickly implement mobilization:

(1) Soldiers in active service stop retiring from active service, and soldiers on leave or visiting relatives must return to the army immediately;

(2) Reserve personnel and national defense students should be ready for active service at any time, and must report to the designated place on time after receiving the notice;

(3) The responsible persons of state organs, public organizations, enterprises and institutions and people's governments of townships, nationality townships and towns must organize the reservists of their own units to report at the specified time and place;

(4) The transportation department shall give priority to transporting reservists, national defense students and active servicemen back to the army.
