I am Man Zi During the pre-Qin period, under the leadership of Chu Wuwang, in thirty-five years, Chu sent troops to attack the Sui State of Chu Wuwang. Facing the invasion of Chu, Sui said, "I am innocent." Chu replied roguishly, "I am a barbarian." Compared with those vassal States that originated in the Central Plains, the activities of Chu people were mainly concentrated in Jingchu area in the middle of the Yangtze River basin. Due to the differences in living areas, there is a certain gap in the cultural development between Chu and the vassal States of the Central Plains, so Chu has always been regarded as a barbarian by the vassal States of the Central Plains. "Why not eat minced meat?" At the end of Cao Wei, the power of state affairs was controlled by Sima family. Compared with Sima Zhong's stupidity, Wang Sengqian in the Southern and Northern Dynasties was resourceful. One day, Xiao Daocheng, an avid calligrapher of the Southern Qi Dynasty, and Wang Sengqian, a renowned calligrapher, held a calligraphy competition. After writing, Xiao Daocheng asked Wang Sengqian who was the first. Wang Sengqian has always been good at self-protection, so he didn't appear panicked when facing Xiao Daocheng's question, and then gave a "divine reply" that satisfied Xiao Daocheng. Wang Sengqian's answer is "the first emperor, the first minister". This answer not only affirmed Xiao Daocheng's calligraphy level, but also did not deliberately belittle himself. Xiao Daocheng was very happy after hearing this answer.
