The center is mainly responsible for the prevention and control of infectious diseases, endemic diseases, occupational diseases, and chronic non-communicable diseases in the province; emergency response to public health emergencies; food hygiene, school hygiene, occupational health, radiation Hygiene monitoring of health and public places; hygienic testing and inspection of health-related products; health education, scientific research on disease prevention and control, and training of disease prevention and control personnel.
