On August 4th, Ms. Chen from Lucheng District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang received a phone call. The other party claimed that she was a staff member of the courier sorting office, and said that Ms. Chen's courier was sent from a medium-high risk area, and there was a possibility of infection, so it could not be delivered, but she could apply for compensation from 300 yuan through the claims settlement procedure.

In order to apply for a claim, Ms. Chen opened the mobile banking transfer interface under the guidance of the other party, and entered the so-called "payment" bank card number of the company and the "China UnionPay verification code 1500.22" sent by the claim system. But Ms. Chen doesn't know that the bank account number she entered is actually the other party's collection account number, and the verification code 1500.22 is the transfer amount.

After the operation, Ms. Chen received a SMS reminder of the successful bank transfer, realized that she was cheated, and immediately called the police. At present, the local police have been involved in the investigation of this case, and the specific circumstances of the case are under further investigation.
