It is reported that the civil aviation passenger reservation system (Eterm system) is a reservation system developed by China Civil Aviation Information Network Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Airlines Letter"). Because the operating interface of the system is black background, green and yellow fonts, it is also called "black screen system" by the insiders. As the booking system of major domestic airlines at present, the "black screen system" is aimed at airlines, airports, ticket sales agents and other institutions, mainly providing services such as air passenger transport business and electronic distribution of air travel.

However, according to the person in charge of a ticket agent, there are four groups of people who have the authority to check and possibly disclose the passenger flight information: ticket agents, airline staff, China Airlines staff and hackers. Through different channels and authorities, they only need to enter the passenger ID number on the Eterm system, and they can find detailed information including the seat, cabin and telephone number of the passenger's corresponding flight, without the verification of the passenger himself.

Experts said that although the airline APP staff responded that the cancellation of airline tickets was caused by a software system bug, the disclosure of citizens' personal information was not just an accident.
