Turn on the iMessage function

Before the iMessage function is turned on, when sending a text message, you can see that the text color of the send button is green. The text box of the text message displayed is also green, indicating that this is an ordinary paid text message.

Find the settings icon in the IOS system and click to enter the settings interface.

In the settings list, find the information and click to enter.

In the information settings page, the iMessage function is turned off by default. We click the switch to turn on the iMessage function.

After turning on the iMessage function, we click Send and Receive to view our own address.

In sending and receiving, you can see the apple ID you have logged in and your iMessage address. Generally, the iMessage address of the iPhone is the registered email address of your Apple ID and Mobile phone number, the other party can contact you directly through these two addresses.

Send iMessage free text messages

Click the information icon in the interface to enter the SMS function page.

After turning on the iMessage function, you can see that the color of the phone number is divided into green and blue in the address book. Blue means that the other party also uses an iPhone. Communicate directly with the other party through iMessage.

Open a blue contact that supports the iMessage function. When entering a text message, you can also see that the text color of the send button is blue.

Similarly, after clicking Send to send the text message, you can see that the color of the text box of the sent text message is also blue, which also indicates that this text message is a free iMessage message.
