The 5th "Kexun Cup" DV Competition has come to a successful conclusion, with nearly 400 entries and 88 participating organizations, including 9 international organizations, all of which are the highest in history. With the continuous expansion of the scale and influence of the competition, the level of works has gradually improved; At the same time, in order to meet the needs of the development of science and technology in the industry and market changes, and to strengthen the exchanges between domestic and foreign college students, the new competition will be renamed as "Kexun Cup" International College Students Film and Television Works Competition, and students from international universities such as Japan, South Korea, Italy, Britain, Canada and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan will be invited to participate.

The contest will continue to uphold the consistent purpose of "Kexun Cup", promote the development of film and television culture, and strengthen inter-school cooperation and exchanges. This year's competition is hosted by Huazhong Normal University in Wuhan, the thoroughfare of nine provinces. In order to make teenagers' eyes better in line with the international standards, from the fifth session, the contest has set up the same proposition unit as the year named by the United Nations, with the theme: Proposition unit theme: International academic year.

In addition, a 5-minute short film unit was specially set up in this competition, and creators are welcome to actively innovate and contribute; At the same time, creators are more welcome to edit films in their works for no more than 5 minutes to participate in the short film group competition and win the best short film award (***3).
