Why can't the mobile phone surf the Internet?

If you can't use traffic to surf the Internet when the signal of your mobile phone card is normal, please confirm whether the following scenarios are available first, and make an investigation according to the specific problem scenarios you encounter:

1. Internet of Things card/flow card cannot be used to surf the Internet.

Due to the different contract information, some Internet of Things/flow cards need a specific APN to access the Internet.

2. A single application cannot use mobile data to access the Internet.

(1) Open the phone settings, enter application networking in the top search bar, click to jump to the application networking interface, please check the mobile data switch of the application; Click Application Network in the upper left corner and select Advanced Network Management. Please check the background data switch of the application.

(2) The wrong date may cause some applications to fail to analyze the network used by the server. It is suggested that you set the date to automatic: Please open the mobile phone settings, enter "date" in the top search box, click the date and time to enter the setting interface, and the automatic setting switch will be turned on.

3. Unable to surf the Internet when roaming internationally

(1) If your calling card can't access the Internet during international roaming, please click the shortcut menu at the top of the mobile phone screen, find and press the mobile data icon to enter the setting interface, and make sure that the data roaming switch is turned on.

(2) Please consult the calling card operator's customer service: Do you have data roaming service in the local roaming operator's network, and does your package support international roaming mobile data?

4. You can't surf the Internet during the call.

Please turn on the VoLTE function of your mobile phone card (this function needs the support of both the mobile phone and the operator), and the high-definition icon will be displayed in the signal bar after turning it on.

(1) If you are a single card user:

When the VoLTE function is turned on, you can access the Internet during a call.

(2) If you are a dual-card user and your mobile phone supports dual VoLTE dual-pass function:

After the dual-card VoLTE function is turned on, the dual-card can surf the Internet during the call.

Warm reminder: You can call Huawei's customer service hotline (950800) to find out whether your mobile phone supports dual VoLTE function.

(3) If you are a dual-card user, but your mobile phone does not support dual VoLTE dual-pass function:

A after the dual-card VoLTE function is enabled, the main card can surf the internet during the call.

B. Some mobile phones can play anime characters and surf the Internet:

Please enter the following path to see if there is a switch to access the Internet during the call or to intelligently select or switch the network card during the call.

Gundam EMUI 10.0: settings > wireless and network > dual card management

HarmonyOS system & ampEMUI 10. X and above: setting >; Mobile network > SIM card management

If it exists, turn on the corresponding switch, and you can realize the online function of comics (you need to use the dial-up software that comes with the system). If it doesn't exist, it means that your mobile phone doesn't support the online function of the cartoon.

Warm reminder:

VoLTE function needs to be built on 4G network, please make sure your 4G network is normal.

After VoLTE is turned on successfully, if the cell phone signal column displays 2G during a call, it means that the operator's VoLTE network is abnormal, so I suggest you give feedback to the operator's customer service.

If your mobile phone is still unable to access the Internet during the call, please contact Huawei's customer service hotline (950800) for more help, or back up the data in advance (third-party applications such as QQ and WeChat need to be backed up separately), and bring relevant purchase vouchers to the nearby Huawei customer service center for testing.

5. If this is not the case, please follow these steps:

(1) Please make sure that the mobile phone card is not in arrears.

You can call to confirm. If your mobile phone card is in arrears, please recharge the phone bill first, and then try to connect to the Internet.

(2) Please make sure that the mobile data switch is turned on.

Please click the shortcut menu at the top of the phone screen to see if the mobile data icon is lit.

(3) If you are using a 5G mobile phone, please turn off the 5G switch and try.

The 5G network is still in the early stage of construction, and there are compatibility problems in some areas, which makes it impossible for mobile phones to access the Internet after turning on 5G. I suggest you turn off the 5G switch: slide down from the top of the mobile phone screen to bring up the shortcut menu bar, press and hold the mobile data icon to enter the setting interface, and turn off the 5G switch.

(4) Please confirm that the default mobile data card is a mobile phone card with Internet access.

If you use two mobile phone cards, please open the phone settings, search the default phone data, and click Jump. Please ensure that the default mobile data card is set correctly.

(5) Please restart your phone and try again.

Sometimes a temporary network failure will make it impossible to access the internet through data services, switch flight modes or restart the mobile phone to see if it can be restored.

(6) Please try to change the current location.

I suggest you compare the mobile phones that use the SIM card of the same operator around you. If there is this phenomenon, it may be that the quality of your local network is poor and you can't get online, so you can return to normal if you switch to other places.

(7) Try to reset APN.

I suggest you open the settings, enter APN in the top search bar, click APN to jump to the mobile data settings interface, then click APN, then click the three buttons in the upper right corner, and select Try to reset to the default settings.

(8) Try to restore network settings.

It is recommended that you search in Settings to restore network settings and try to restore network settings.

Reminder: Restoring the network settings will delete the WLAN and Bluetooth connection records, and you need to enter the screen lock password for verification.

If the above investigation can't solve your problem, please back up your information in advance (third-party applications such as QQ and WeChat need to be backed up separately), and bring relevant purchase vouchers to the nearby Huawei customer service center for maintenance.
