1. Adding contacts

To use MSN Messenger to communicate with friends online, you must first add the other party to the contact list of MSN Messenger. Add a user using an email address or login name:

After filling in, click "Next", and a successfully added information window will appear (picture below). If the other party is not online at this time, only the login name of the other party's contact will be displayed after adding it, but the other party's nickname, contact information and other detailed information will not be displayed.

2. Contact management

After adding contacts, users can also manage the contacts (picture below). Chatting using MSN Messenger is not limited to the user and the contact. Both the user or the contact can invite other friends to join the ongoing topic.

The user only needs to click on the right side of the conversation window to invite someone to join the conversation.

Then click on the invitee's MSN Messenger username or nickname in the contact list of the pop-up window to make the invitee join the current conversation.
