Can I make phone calls and send text messages on the wifi ipad?

There is a new function in the latest iOS8 system called "Continuous Interoperability", which allows iPhone to connect with iPad or Mac computer.

In order for iPad to use iPhone to make phone calls, you need to use the same account, that is, the same Apple ID, to log in at Facetime on both devices. Find the Facetime option in the settings list and log in to iPhone and iPad with your own account. Besides, at Facetime? IPhone cellular network calls must be turned on.

When both iPad and iPhone log in with the same account? After Facetime, you need to meet the second condition, that is, you must be in the same wireless network, such as connecting to your own wireless LAN.

The third condition is that both the Bluetooth of iPad and iPhone are turned on, and these models can detect each other: iPhone 5 or higher, iPad (fourth generation), iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display, so other devices can't make calls with iPhone.
