Is there a character limit when writing text messages on Nokia 2730C?

When editing text messages with 2730C, there is no word limit and you can finish writing.

But it will be automatically divided into several text messages and sent out.

One Chinese text message has 70 characters, if it exceeds 70 characters it will be counted as 2 messages, if it exceeds 140 characters it will be counted as 3 messages, and so on.

When the other party receives a text message, newer mobile phones will automatically combine it into one display, while mobile phones produced earlier will receive it in several messages.

I have seen both situations.
