Why can't oppo receive SMS?

If you use an OPPO mobile phone (ColorOS system), we suggest that you conduct the following investigation:

1. If you don't blacklist or harass the other party, you just don't receive individual messages, which may be the other party's mobile phone or network problems.

2. If you can't receive your short message, you can check whether the mobile phone has the functions of harassment interception, blacklist and information interception.

(1) coloros11and above system models: enter "information >;" : "upper right corner harassment interception >": "upper right corner interception rule, and set it.

(2) For the system models below Coloros11,enter "Settings >"; Security > harassment interception > click "blacklist/information interception" to turn off blacklist and harassment interception.

3. Confirm whether the "Do Not Disturb" function is turned on.

Go to Settings > Sound and Vibration > do not disturb mode and click Close.

4. Check whether the number of the SMS center is set correctly.

Please check whether the number setting in the SMS center is normal, and set the path "Open SMS >"; At three o'clock in the upper right corner > Settings > Advanced Settings > Information Center Number ",confirm whether the SMS Center number is correct. The number of SMS centers varies by operators and regions. It is recommended to consult the operator to find out the exact number change and then try to send a message.

5. Confirm whether the mobile phone is in arrears.

6. If you can't receive SMS in some special areas, it may be caused by poor signal. I suggest you try to leave this area for a distance, then restart your mobile phone or switch flight modes to see if it can be solved.

7. Confirm whether the SIM card can be used normally.

If you can't receive SMS in all areas, I suggest you try changing your mobile phone and card. You can take out the SIM card of your mobile phone and try to change it to see if it is damaged. If not, clean the mobile phone chip before inserting it for post-test, or insert the available SIM card of other operators for post-test. If it is determined that it is a SIM card problem, it is recommended that you contact the operator for handling.

If none of the above methods can solve your problem, it is suggested that you back up your mobile phone data, bring your mobile phone invoice, warranty card and mobile phone to the official service center of OPPO for testing, or choose two-way free mail maintenance service and send your mobile phone to the designated service center for processing.
