Based on the characteristics of the current epidemic and the prevention and control situation, in order to protect the health of teachers and students Health, based on the teaching situation of different stages of primary and secondary schools, the Xi'an Municipal Education Bureau has optimized and adjusted the city's final education and teaching work for the 2022 autumn semester. The specific arrangements are as follows:

1. Winter vacation time

Primary schools will have winter vacation on December 31, 2022 (Saturday); first and second grade junior high school students, and first and second grade high school students will have winter vacation on January 7, 2023 (Saturday); junior high school and senior high school students will have winter vacation on January 7, 2023 Winter vacation starts on September 14th (Saturday).

The start of the 2023 spring semester will be as originally planned.

Kindergarten is implemented in accordance with primary schools.

2. Education and teaching work

Before the holidays, primary schools educate students on health knowledge and safety knowledge through online means; the first and second grades of junior middle schools and the first and second grades of high schools adopt online Carry out educational and teaching activities in the above way. Students will no longer return to school.

The third grade of junior high school and the third grade of senior high school can flexibly adopt online or "online and offline" methods to carry out educational and teaching activities based on the health conditions of teachers and students.

3. Final examination work

Primary and secondary schools will not conduct any form of final examination this semester. Within two weeks of the start of the spring semester of 2023, except for the first and second grades of primary schools, other grades of primary and secondary schools can organize an academic examination and comprehensive quality evaluation based on actual conditions. Each school must standardize examination content in accordance with national curriculum standards and teaching progress, scientifically determine the difficulty of the examination, and conduct comprehensive quality evaluations of students in accordance with the requirements of basic education curriculum reform.
