Provisions of Kunming Municipality on Refund of Air Tickets

Legal analysis: for unused tickets, the refund amount is equal to the balance after deducting the reasonable service fee or refund fee from the paid fare; If the ticket has been partially used, the refund amount is equal to the difference between the paid fare and the applicable fare for the flight segment, and the balance after deducting the reasonable service fee or refund fee.

It should be noted that passengers with disabled soldiers, disabled people's police and baby tickets are exempt from refund fees when they request a refund. When passengers with children's tickets or adult tickets refund their tickets, they shall go through the refund procedures according to the fare usage.

Legal basis: Article 22 of the Civil Aviation Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), where a passenger voluntarily returns a ticket, he shall provide his/her valid identity certificate in addition to a valid ticket, which shall be handled in accordance with the following provisions. (a) disabled revolutionary servicemen request a refund, free of charge. (2) Passengers holding baby tickets are exempt from refund fees. (3) If a passenger holding an indefinite ticket requests a refund, he shall go through the refund formalities at the original place of purchase within the validity period of the ticket. (4) Passengers automatically terminate their travel at the stop of the flight, and the ticket price of the unused segment of the flight will not be refunded.
