When will spring tea be on the market?

Due to different tea areas and varieties, the picking, making and listing time of spring tea varies from place to place. The common ones are West Lake Longjing, Biluochun and Xinyang Maojian.

West Lake Longjing: produced in the mountainous area around Longjing Village, West Lake, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Generally, a small amount can be picked at the beginning of March every year, but the market is scarce, and it will not be concentrated for the market until around mid-March.

Biluochun: It is produced in the east Dongting Mountain and west Dongting Mountain (now Wuzhong District, Suzhou) of Taihu Lake in Wuxian County, Jiangsu Province, so it is also called "Biluochun in Dongting". Generally, it is also picked in March and supplied to the market around mid-March, which may be advanced or postponed due to climate influence.

Xinyang Maojian Tea: The main producing areas are Xinyang, Xinxian, Shangcheng and Dabie Mountains in China. The peak season of Xinyang Maojian tea is from Qingming to Grain Rain, and it will be listed around the end of March and the beginning of April.
