Will you be told if you donate blood and find out AIDS?

The blood donated by each blood donor must undergo strict inspection before it can be used to save the patient's life. Blood collected must also be examined:

Blood type, hemoglobin, transaminase, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, AIDS, syphilis.

Blood stations with questionable test results will call the blood donors themselves.

If there are AIDS antigens or antibodies in the blood, the blood station will send the samples to the local CDC for confirmation according to the process. After confirmation, the CDC will notify the blood donor himself.
