Huawei e5 forgot the password. How to restore factory settings?

Mode 1: Return to factory by reset button.

Turn on the router, wait for a moment (until the router starts), press the reset hole of the router with a needle for more than 2 seconds, and then release it after the indicator light goes out. After waiting for the router to restart and light up the red light, the factory settings can be restored. (Note: After the factory settings are restored, the configuration parameters of the router will be cleared and the router needs to be reconfigured. )。

Method 2: restore the factory through Huawei HiLink APP.

1. Connect the phone to the router's Wi-Fi.

2. Open Huawei HiLink APP in your mobile phone and click the Settings icon in the upper right corner. Click on the device and select Restore Factory Settings.
