How to cancel and edit information for Apple iPhone 14 series models?

Withdraw information

Users can cancel the recently sent information within two minutes after sending:

Press and hold the message bubble, then tap to cancel sending. Comments confirming that you have withdrawn the message will also be displayed in the conversation record between you and the recipient.

If the device used by the mail recipient is running iOS 16/iPadOS 16 or later, recalling will remove the mail from its device.

If the device used by the message receiver is running iOS15.6/iPados15.6 or lower, or uses SMS, the original message will remain in the conversation. When the message is recalled, the system will inform you that the recipient can still see the original message in the message text record.

Edit the sent message.

Users can edit the most recently sent information up to five times within 15 minutes after sending.

In the message, select the message dialogue to edit; Press and hold the information bubble, and then edit it gently; Modify anything, then tap to resend the edited content, or tap to restore it. This information will be marked as edited in the conversation record.

If the device used by the message recipient is running iOS 16/iPadOS 16 or later, the message bubble will be updated to reflect your edits on his device, and both parties can tap Edited to view the pre-edited version of the message.

If the device used by the information receiver is running iOS15.6/iPados15.6 or earlier, or uses SMS, it will receive new information with updated text.
