Three kinds of knowledge civilization in experiential philosophy
Chapter one: Experience life.
1. Life is experience.
What is life? Just an experience. Living is experience, life is the subject of experience, life is the process of experience, and existence is the content of experience.
People, no matter what they do, what situations and situations they encounter, are experiencing all the time. Success is experience, so is failure. Happiness is an experience, adversity is also an experience, even in dreams, it is also an experience. As long as people live, they can't live without experience. Whether it is good or bad, it is actually their own experience realm. Although all kinds of pain, but it just proves that you are experiencing-alive, why not?
Even if a person has a full meal and nothing to do, he is experiencing it. At this time, he often experiences loneliness, loneliness and boredom.
People need to experience, even if they are sad, scared and in tears. For example, most world literary masterpieces are tragedies. People will also spend money to watch horror movies and experience horror and fear. People love peace, but the literary works on the theme of war are enduring for a long time, and now they appear in the form of blockbusters, that is, the bigger, fiercer, more cruel and more people die in the war scene, the more popular and enjoyable it will be. It is not the meanness of human nature that people regard the tragedy of history and the suffering of others as their own pastime and boredom. Because people need experience, because the brain needs stimulation.
2. Experience and intellectuality
People experience all the time, because people "know" all the time. Everybody knows, everybody knows. People can not only perceive the world, but also know the world.
People must know that even in dreams, people know. People are experiencing when they perceive, see and hear, and they are also experiencing when they know, think, recall and imagine. Although sometimes a state is "imagined" by oneself, this kind of thinking is also the realm of human experience. Therefore, experience is the experience of knowledge, my experience, and the experience of knowledge.
But what is "I" and what is "knowledge"?
If the body is "I", how to explain the "I" when the soul leaves the body after death? If there is no individual soul after death, then religion cannot be established; The scope of philosophical discussion will be limited; The field of scientific exploration will also lose its assumptions and conjectures; People have no real value and dignity, because people and animals and plants are equal. Therefore, it is wise to take a skeptical attitude towards the question of the soul. You just can't say yes or no, because if you say no, you need to produce evidence. Therefore, in order to expand the convenience of thinking and narration, a soul is presupposed here. So the philosophical conclusion of discussing "I" from the body is that the body is not "I".
Secondly, if consciousness is "I", how to explain the "I" of life without consciousness? Generally speaking, consciousness is the product of the brain, but many creatures do not have a "brain", but their lives exist and their individual "I" is expressed. Therefore, the philosophical conclusion of exploring "I" from the aspect of consciousness is that consciousness is not "I" either.
At this point, the result of inference is that the definition of "I" in life cannot be based on the existence of biological material form or the existence of consciousness. Both human beings and higher organisms are conscious, tangible and conscious, while lower organisms are conscious, tangible but unconscious, while the soul is conscious, conscious but intangible. It can be seen that the existence of all life should have the following two characteristics: first, "intellectuality"; Second, there is "life and death". The so-called "intellectuality" is the common function of life; The so-called life and death is the common change of life forms.
People's "intellectuality" and "consciousness" are different. Consciousness is the attribute and characteristic of advanced life, so it is not the essence and source of life. However, "intellectuality" is the fundamental attribute of all life forms. Without "knowledge", life and consciousness have no motivation. Therefore, although people form "self-awareness" and "self-feeling" because of the "thinking" of consciousness and the "feeling" of body, they all depend on intellectuality, and "knowledge" is the most basic and essential existence of life, that is, the foundation of "me".
In other words, "I" exists because of "knowledge", and I know that I am. Most people have this experience. When they are in dreamless sleep, although they are unconscious, their "knowledge" still exists. Because if the phone rings at this time, people will naturally "know" and wake up. This shows that "intellectuality" has always existed. Whether the mind wants to or not, "I" always exists. On the other hand, if "intellectuality" doesn't exist, then the ringing of the phone can't wake me up, which shows and proves that "I" and "knowledge" are the same, that is, "I know, so I am".
