Tan Yue GTE is a new model just launched by FAW-Volkswagen in April this year. Together with the previous Magotan GTE, there are more and more PHEV members under Volkswagen. Our model for this test is Tan Yue ·GTE? 2020? 1.4T? The distinguished model, that is, the top version of the GTE, has an official guide price of 259,800 yuan.

For the convenience of description, we call it "Exploring Yue GTE" for short. It should be emphasized that due to the differences in road conditions, humidity, temperature and surrounding environment, the test data of acceleration, braking, control and mute are for reference only and cannot be used as an objective comparison basis.

The sheet metal process is ok, but there is still room for improvement.

The first step is sheet metal testing. There are 4 pairs of 8 groups of measuring points * * * on GTE, which are the left and right gaps of the hood near the lower end of A-pillar, the left and right gaps of the front end of the hood near headlights, the upper end of the tailgate near the left and right gaps of the rear windshield and the lower end of the tailgate near the bottom. Basically, these four sets of data are enough to reflect the level of sheet metal assembly of a car.

However, according to the measurement results, although the gap of Tan Yue GTE's sheet metal is not big, there are some errors in several groups of control measurement points, especially the gap between the two sides of the front of the hood is 2mm.

Previously, we tested the fuel version of Volkswagen Tan Yue GTE, and found that the overall sheet metal process of its body was better than that of Tan Yue GTE. The difference is that the fuel version of GTE in Tan Yue has a good hood splicing process, while the tailgate splicing process of GTE in Tan Yue has a good performance, and the hood gap error is large. ?

The painting process is hardly finished.

We choose six different test points on the hood, four of which are located on the main plane of the hood. Basically, this set of data can reflect the overall process level of GTE car paint in Tan Yue.

From the measured data, the painting accuracy of the four points on the main plane of the hood is still relatively high, with the maximum error of only 8 mm However, from the two side measuring points in Figure 5 and Figure 6 above, it can be seen that the thickness of paint dropping is obviously not as good as that of the main plane of the hood, and the secondary painting calibration here has hardly been completed, which seems a bit inappropriate for a big factory like Volkswagen.

The acceleration control is not bad, and the braking performance is improved.

Tan Yue GTE powertrain consists of 1 10kW/? 250Nm 1.4T inline four-cylinder turbocharged engine, an 85kW/330? Nm motor and a set of 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and the comprehensive maximum output reaches 155kW/400? Nano. The battery is a 13kWh ternary lithium battery with a pure electric cruising range of 54km.

0- 100km/h acceleration test, GTE's first best score is 8.8 1 s, and the maximum acceleration force reaches 0.500G, which is good in data. It should be faster if you have enough motivation. For various reasons, when we tested Yue Yue GTE, its battery charge was less than 10%, so basically, in the next few 0- 100km/h acceleration tests, the motors of Yue Yue GTE were powerless. ...

As for 100? -0? In the km/h braking test, GTE's best score is 42.75438+0 meters, and to be honest, there is still a lot of room for improvement. However, compared with the fuel GTE we tested before (as shown in the figure below), this brake has actually improved a lot. From this point of view alone, Yue's exploratory achievements are still commendable.

Many people will judge the handling of a car by the hardness of the suspension. In fact, there is no absolute correspondence between vehicle handling and suspension hardness. In the field of professional automobile sports, the maximum acceleration of cornering centripetal force-commonly known as "G value"-will be used as an important index to measure vehicle handling. At present, the cornering control limit of F 1 racing car can reach four times the acceleration of gravity, that is, the level of 4G, and the control limit of ordinary grocery car is about1g..

In the handling limit test, Tan Yue GTE ran out of the maximum lateral overload acceleration of 0.958G, which is not good, but for Tan Yue GTE, handling is not an important factor, and this car still aims at fuel economy at home.

The vibration test performance is quite unexpected.

When the hot car is idling, the maximum vibration amplitude of GTE engine is 0.082mm, which is relatively not excellent. According to our previous experience in testing Volkswagen brand models, this is by no means the technical level of Volkswagen.

On the steering wheel in the car, the maximum vibration amplitude of idle speed on the steering wheel is 0.026 mm, and this group of results is not good either. Generally speaking, we think that if the maximum vibration amplitude of the steering wheel is less than 0.0 10mm at idle speed, it can be classified as "top class".

I checked that the number of the 1.4T engine on the Exploration GTE is EA2 1 1-DUK, which, like the one on the Magotan GTE, belongs to the exclusive engine on the Volkswagen plug-in model. However, from the vibration test, whether it is engine vibration suppression or NVH in the car, engineers may still have a lot of work to do.

The mute performance is better than the fuel version.

On the premise of completely warming up the car, turning off the entertainment system, air conditioner and windows, we chose a dry, flat and empty asphalt road without cars, and tested the interior quietness of GTE in Tan Yue at constant speeds of 40km/h, 60km/h and 80km/h in cruise mode and non-motion mode respectively.

When we tested, the battery capacity of Dongyue GTE was nearly exhausted, and due to the characteristics of PHEV, in this case, it was actually unfavorable for Dongyue GTE to measure the interior quietness-after all, in order to charge the battery, the engine speed would increase. However, despite this, GTE's mute performance has always been among the best in DC.

The following figure shows the in-car mute test data of 2.0T fuel version Tan Yue. Although it has been emphasized before that the mute test data cannot be directly compared due to the differences in road conditions, humidity, temperature and surrounding environment, the maximum difference of 6. 1dBA can no longer be explained by the measurement condition error.

In several different states, the interior mute performance of Tan Yue GTE is almost better than that of the fuel version, but considering the differences between the two power systems, there is only a certain comparison.

After several days of driving, the average fuel consumption of GTE in Tan Yue is about 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers when the power is almost completely exhausted.

Under the condition of no power shortage, the fuel consumption of hybrid mode reaches the lowest of 4.4L hundred kilometers, which is not bad for a medium-sized SUV model of PHEV. If there is more electricity, the fuel consumption in the first 100 kilometers will be lower.

If you often commute in the city, the advantages of exploring Yue GTE are obvious, unlimited and low cost. Although GTE suffix is added, it is actually a very family car.
