According to the online arbitration rules of Shiyan Arbitration Commission

Purpose and basis of the formulation of Article 1

These Rules are formulated in accordance with Article 102 of the Arbitration Rules of Shiyan Arbitration Commission in order to adapt to the "Internet plus Dispute Resolution" and ensure that online dispute resolution with online arbitration as the core can solve civil and commercial disputes fairly and efficiently.

Article 2 the meaning of technical terms

(1) This Association refers to Shiyan Arbitration Commission.

(2) Online arbitration platform refers to a special platform established by FSC to provide online arbitration.

(3) Written form refers to information recording forms that can express the content and can be retrieved at any time, such as contracts (including user agreements), letters and data messages (including telegrams, telex, faxes, electronic data interchange, e-mails and instant electronic communication records).

(4) Electronic data refers to information formed by e-mail, electronic data exchange, online chat records, blogs, Weibo, WeChat, short messages, electronic signatures, domain names, etc. Electronic data solidification refers to the way to preserve the content and form of electronic data by using information technology.

(5) Electronic signature refers to data contained in data messages in electronic form and accompanied by data for identifying the identity of the signer and indicating that the signer approves its contents.

(6) Online trial refers to trial activities conducted by online video trial or other electronic communication methods.

(7) Electronic service refers to the transmission of arbitration documents by means of e-mail, SMS or providing a file download link address.

(8) Electronic delivery addresses include e-mail, mobile phone number, micro-signal, QQ account number and other addresses that can receive data messages.

(9) Online mediation refers to mediation activities conducted by means of electronic or computer communication such as online video conferencing using the Internet.

Rule 3 applies.

(4) Disputes arising from online transactions and disputes arising from non-online transactions may be arbitrated in accordance with these Rules.
