What documents do I need to prepare for bar code renewal?

I. Application Procedures for Bar Code Renewal

1. System members shall go through the renewal procedures within three months before the expiration of the system member certificate. If the renewal formalities are not completed within the time limit, the manufacturer identification code and system membership shall be cancelled.

2. The renewal procedure is as follows:

A) Within 3 months before the expiration of the system member certificate, inform the enterprise to go through the replacement procedures; Failing to receive the renewal notice upon expiration;

B) After receiving the notice of replacement, the enterprise shall fill in the replacement form in time and affix its official seal;

C) The enterprise will mail 2 copies of the completed renewal form and 2 copies of remittance voucher;

D) After approval by the Center, issue a new certificate to the enterprise that has completed the replacement.

Secondly, the common barcodes are mainly EAN barcodes and UPC barcodes.

EAN bar codes are currently widely used in many countries and regions around the world (except some areas in the United States and Canada);

UPC barcode should be applied in the United States and Canada, and EAN- 13 code must be applied before applying for UPC barcode.
