Guizhou Zhen Distillery was established in 1975 and was formerly known as Guizhou Province Moutai Liquor Off-site Pilot Plant. In 2009, it was changed to "Guizhou Zhenjiu Brewing Co., Ltd." Guizhou Zhen Distillery is based on Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai’s instructions during his lifetime that Moutai should be developed to 10,000 tons. In order to explore the possibility and feasibility of off-site production of Moutai, the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Commission and the Light Textile Industry Department decided to build the company under natural conditions. Well, the cross-paving construction plant in the northern suburbs of Zunyi City, which has a geographical environment close to Maotai Town and relatively convenient transportation, is conducting off-site (pilot) production tests.
