Zhu Wenna's Working Experience in the Incident

"Public opinion supervision and reporting are often obstructed"

When did the new legal newspaper come to work in Legal Person magazine? What was your previous occupation?

Zhu Wenna: I worked in the magazine Legal Person last September. Legal Person magazine belongs to the Legal Daily. In 1995, after I graduated from China Journalism College, I began to work in the editor-in-chief room of Legal Daily, and worked in the social department and other departments successively. My second degree in college is journalism.

the new legal newspaper: well, you have been engaged in journalism for more than 1 years. Do you often do articles like "Xifeng official-business contest"?

Zhu Wenna: I have done some articles supervised by public opinion in the past, but after I went to Legal Person magazine, because our magazine was positioned as a legal reference for entrepreneurs, it mainly reported the article "Xifeng's official-business contest". Zhao Junping was an entrepreneur himself, and he encountered legal problems. The topic selection was in line with our magazine's positioning.

New Legal Newspaper: Have you ever reported by public opinion before?

Zhu Wenna: I used to do it in the Legal Daily.

The new legal newspaper: What kind of difficulties will you encounter when you monitor the interview by public opinion?

Zhu Wenna: It's very common for a reporter to do an interview under the supervision of public opinion, and the supervised object refuses to accept the interview and obstructs the interview. Like Xifeng's manuscript, when I was in Xifeng to investigate the case of female entrepreneurs suspected of libel because of short messages, I went to the county party Committee office building and didn't see Zhang Zhiguo himself. I left an interview outline and contact information, but the other party never responded.

New Legal News: Have you ever encountered anything similar in your more than 1 years' working experience?

Zhu Wenna: I have seen such things as journalists being beaten and journalists being taken to court, but I have never met them. It's the first time I've been arrested for reporting negative stories and being accused of libel, and it should be the first case in our journalist industry.
