Is it insincere to send text messages in groups to celebrate the New Year?

I don't think I am sincere. If you want to pay a New Year call to someone, you'd better pay a New Year call by private letter.

If it is a mass New Year message, there is not much sincerity. Most of the people in the group send new year messages to "follow the wind" and have no sincerity at all.
