Why choose SMS platform instead of operator?

SMS operators are providers of SMS services. There are three major SMS operators in China, namely China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. As only operators with business licenses issued by the Ministry of Information Industry can establish networks, there are currently only three SMS operators in China.

SMS service providers are businesses that provide accurate numbers for SMS sending services according to the requirements of enterprises or businesses. The short message service, also known as the third-party short message platform, reached an agreement with the short message operator and obtained the qualification of sms channel. The difference between SMS operators and SMS service providers is that the former owns and can directly use sms channel, while the latter integrates the sms channel resources of the three major operators. To put it simply: when an enterprise wants to send a large number of short messages, there are two options, one is to contact the operator directly, and the other is to choose the appropriate short message service provider. However, direct cooperation with operators requires high costs. On the contrary, SMS service providers integrate the resources of the three major operators, with mature technology, a mature service system, convenient operation and low cost. Coupled with perfect service, it can greatly meet the needs of the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises.
