Bai Hua Lending Bao issued an anti-fraud reminder: beware of four new scams such as canceling loan accounts?

On March 22, Alipay and Bai Hua, a subsidiary of Ant Group, issued anti-fraud tips to remind users of four new scams: fake customer service, "cancellation of campus loan account", "refund of reserve fund", "opening of Bai Hua loan" and "increasing the quota".

Recently, some netizens said on social platforms that scammers pretended to be the customer service of Ant Group to make fraudulent phone calls, defrauding users' personal information on the grounds of "canceling campus loan accounts" or "modifying identity information", and even letting victims transfer money and pay fees.

At present, in Alipay APP, Huayuan has hung an anti-fraud reminder on the homepage. Huayuan rumors that Huayuan will not ask users for social account information on the grounds of "changing identity information", nor will it ask users to transfer money or pay fees in any form. If users receive such fraudulent phone calls or text messages, they must not be deceived. The loan interface also reminds users to beware of scams such as "impersonating a merchant for refund" and "canceling a loan account".

At the same time, Alipay, Bai Hua, etc. Through the "Anti-fraud Guide" issued by the official Weibo, the routine and anti-fraud points of four new scams, such as "canceling the campus loan account", were exposed.

In the "petty cash refund scam", scammers often grasp the logistics information of the victim through the black industrial chain, and then contact the victim, claiming that the online shopping refund has been credited to the victim's Alipay "petty cash", misleading the victim to understand the amount of petty cash as "refund", and then inducing the victim to tell his account information step by step or transfer it to the scammer.

In fact, the reserve fund is a short-term, small capital turnover function provided by Alipay to users. The 500 yuan in the reserve fund is the amount that users can lend when they are short of money, not the so-called "refund".

In the "increase the quota" scam, the swindler claims that he can increase the quota of flower loans, or help users who were unable to open the permissions, thus defrauding the victims of money. In the anti-fraud guide, Alipay refuted the rumor that the opening and quota of flower buds and borrowing buds are comprehensively evaluated by the official system according to the basic situation, credit rating and usage of users. Please don't trust any third-party information, and don't transfer money or pay to strangers.

In fact, in the aforementioned scams, scammers often pretend to be customer service or Alipay employees and randomly contact the victims by phone or social media. There are many reasons, such as "abnormal e-commerce order", "setting the user as a paid VIP by mistake" and "the user is suspected of money laundering", and so on. If users are not vigilant, they may be induced to withdraw the amount of flowers, loans and reserve funds and transfer them to private accounts.

Alipay reminds users in the anti-fraud guide to be vigilant when receiving strange calls, especially not to pay or transfer money to strangers at will. If users encounter similar fraud, they can call Alipay official customer service for verification first, or call the police directly.
