The Supreme People's Procuratorate:

Attorney General: Chief Prosecutor;

Deputy Procurator-General: First-class prosecutors to second-class prosecutors;

Members of the procuratorial Committee: second-level big prosecutors to second-level senior prosecutors;

Prosecutors: senior prosecutors from Grade I to Grade IV;

Assistant prosecutors: first-class prosecutors to third-class prosecutors.

Legal basis:

"Interim Provisions on the Grade of Public Prosecutors in People's Republic of China (PRC)" Article 7 Public prosecutors shall implement the following post preparation grades:

(1) the Supreme People's Procuratorate:

Attorney General: Chief Prosecutor;

Deputy Procurator-General: First-class prosecutors to second-class prosecutors;

Members of the procuratorial Committee: second-level big prosecutors to second-level senior prosecutors;

Prosecutors: senior prosecutors from Grade I to Grade IV;

Assistant prosecutors: first-class prosecutors to third-class prosecutors.

(2) People's Procuratorates of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government:

Procurator-General: Second-level Grand Procurator;

Deputy Procurator-General: First-level Procurator-General to Third-level Procurator-General;

Members of the Procuratorial Committee: Senior Procurator II to Senior Procurator IV;

Prosecutor: from the second-level senior prosecutor to the second-level prosecutor;

Assistant prosecutors: first-class prosecutors to fourth-class prosecutors.

(3) Branches of people's procuratorates of provinces and autonomous regions, and people's procuratorates of autonomous prefectures and cities under provincial jurisdiction:

Procurator-General: First-class senior prosecutors to third-class senior prosecutors;

Deputy Procurator-General: two to four senior procurators;

Members of the procuratorial Committee: from the third-level senior prosecutor to the first-level prosecutor;

Prosecutors: three-level senior prosecutors to three-level prosecutors;

Assistant prosecutors: level 2 to level 5 prosecutors.

(4) People's Procuratorates of counties, cities, autonomous counties and municipal districts:

Procurator-General: senior procurators from level 3 to level 4;

Deputy Procurator-General: from the fourth-level senior prosecutor to the first-level prosecutor;

Members of the procuratorial Committee: senior prosecutors from level 4 to level 2;

Prosecutors: four senior prosecutors to four prosecutors;

Assistant prosecutors: level 3 to level 5 prosecutors.

Article 8 The post grades of procurators in people's procuratorates such as branches of people's procuratorates of municipalities directly under the Central Government, people's procuratorates of sub-provincial cities and people's procuratorates of districts and counties to which they belong shall be determined with reference to the provisions on the allocation of procurators' posts and the corresponding provisions of Article 7.
