How can I restore my mobile phone contacts when they are deleted?

If you use Huawei mobile phone, if you delete the contact by mistake, please find the contact according to the following methods:

1. Press "recently deleted" to restore locally.

Go to Settings to search and organize contacts.

Check if there are any recently deleted menus. If yes, please press and hold the contact you want to restore in the recently deleted menu, and then click the Restore button. (Only mobile phone contact recovery is supported, and this function is not supported without this menu. )

2. "Recently deleted" in cloud hosting for recovery.

First of all, please confirm whether the contact synchronization to Huawei cloud hosting function is turned on. If so, you can try to recover by following the following actions:

(1) Both mobile phones and computers can log on to Huawei's cloud hosting website. Please click "Computer Edition" below when logging in to the website with cloud.huawei.com mobile phone, so as to log in to the same account of Huawei Cloud Hosting more conveniently.

(2) Click Recent Delete at the bottom, select the contact to be restored, and then select the Restore button to restore the previously deleted contact (Note: from EMUI 10.0, the latest deletion will only be kept for 30 days);

(3) After restoring the contacts, you can see that the number of contacts has been restored to the number before being deleted under the contact page;

(4) After the cloud contacts are restored, log in to Huawei Cloud Custody on the mobile phone, turn on the contact synchronization switch, and synchronize the contacts locally.

3. Restore "cloud backup" in the cloud

If Huawei cloud backup has been turned on, you can restore the contacts on your mobile phone through cloud backup.
