According to Article 16 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, motor vehicles shall undergo safety technical inspection within the following time limit from the date of registration:

1, annual inspection of buses within 5 years of operation 1 time; More than 5 years, every 6 months 1 time;

2, trucks and large and medium-sized non-operating passenger cars 10 annual inspection 1 times; 10 years or more, every 6 months 1 time;

3. Small and micro non-operating passenger cars shall be inspected every 2 years within 6 years 1 time; More than 6 years, one year 1 time; 15 years or more, every 6 months 1 time;

4. Motorcycle inspection every 2 years within 4 years 1 time; More than 4 years, one year 1 time;

5. Tractors and other motor vehicles are inspected every year 1 time.

If the operating motor vehicle passes the safety technical inspection within the specified inspection period, the safety technical inspection will not be repeated.
