It is because some citizens have reported that a missed call starting with 094 1 or 095 1 will be charged to 500 yuan. 094 1 is the area code of Gansu Cooperation Zone, and 095 1 is the city code of Yinchuan, Ningxia. The police said that one of the numbers starting with 094 1 and 095 1 was a value-added pay phone. Before calling back, citizens must carefully check the strange phone numbers at the beginning of these two numbers.

According to Chaoyang police, at present, among the means of SMS fraud in this city, the situation of using the victim to call back to cause high phone bills is very prominent, and there are various means. There are many forms, for example, short message to notify the request for songs, causing missed calls, inducing the victim to call back, and so on. The police said that this kind of phone bill fraud amount is relatively small, generally several hundred yuan, but if the accumulated fraud amount reaches the filing standard, it also constitutes fraud, and the police will file a case for investigation.
