Article 170 of the Criminal Law: Whoever commits the crime of counterfeiting currency shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than ten years, and shall be fined not less than 50,000 yuan but not more than 500,000 yuan; Under any of the following circumstances, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 10 years, life imprisonment or death, and shall also be fined not less than 50,000 yuan but not more than 500,000 yuan or confiscated of property:

(1) ringleaders of counterfeit currency groups;

(3) There are other particularly serious circumstances.
