Sichuan CDC has 9 functional departments, 16 professional departments. It is two national training bases, namely, on-site epidemiology of China Center for Disease Control and Prevention and regional training of national AIDS prevention and control. The center has an on-site epidemiological training program in Sichuan Province, and it is also a pilot unit for standardized training of public health doctors in national disease control institutions. The center is a doctoral internship place for the University of California, the University of Colorado, the University of Florida, the University of Conte in France and Asahikawa Medical College.
