About chicken coccidia
Chicken coccidiosis is a protozoan disease caused by Eimeria. Chickens take orally sporulated oocysts. Once the oocysts reach suitable intestinal epithelial cells, the contained daughter cells immediately drill into the cells, mature, proliferate and form merozoites, and the merozoites are released from the cells to form merozoites. Repeatedly, the initial oocysts become tens of thousands of times of merozoites, and finally the merozoites become male or female gametophytes, which combine to develop into oocysts and are excreted. Continued infection with chickens will cause bloody stools, listlessness and even death of chickens, which will cause serious harm to chicken farmers and pose a great threat to chicken industry.
The dilemma of chemicals/vaccines
If coccidia drugs are not used, once coccidia infection breaks out, the mortality rate of chickens is as high as 50%. If anticoccidial drugs are used, chicken and egg products will easily produce drug residues, which will affect food safety and damage consumer confidence. Although there is no drug residue problem after inoculation, the protection effect is unstable, which often leads to coccidiosis outbreak or further coccidiosis pollution in chicken farms.

Rotam-CS chickens killed by Taihō Dragon not only have low drug resistance, but also are far superior to thalidomide chickens without drug resistance in health assessment and coccidiosis index. The low drug resistance of Rotam-CS highlights its uniqueness in anticoccidial products. This uniqueness is related to the mechanism of "killing two birds with one stone", because the compounds of medicinal plants act on different parts.
At the same time, in another infection test of coccidia resistant to nicarbazine and mixed coccidia (Eimeria tenella 33%+ Eimeria Mazima 12%+ Eimeria Miwati 2 1%+ Eimeria maxima 34%), Dafenglong showed excellent product performance.
Inhibit harmful flora and promote intestinal health.
