Shanghai's latest epidemic prevention policy

(1) Domestic personnel coming to and returning from Shanghai

In order to further improve the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic in Shanghai, according to the relevant requirements of the the State Council Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism "novel coronavirus Prevention and Control Plan (Ninth Edition)", the control measures for people coming to Shanghai and returning to Shanghai are adjusted as follows from 0: 00 on July 1 day, 2022:

1. For those who have lived in high-risk areas for 7 days and returned to Shanghai, the "7-day centralized isolation medical observation measures" will be implemented after arriving in Shanghai, and COVID-19 nucleic acid detection will be carried out at corresponding frequency.

2. Those who have lived in a moderately dangerous area for 7 days and returned to Shanghai will be subjected to "7-day home isolation medical observation" after arriving in Shanghai, and COVID-19 nucleic acid detection with corresponding frequency will be conducted. Do not have the conditions for home isolation medical observation, take centralized isolation medical observation.

3. For those who have lived in other areas of the county (city, district, banner) where the low-risk area is located within 7 days, they should complete the nucleic acid detection twice within 3 days after arriving in Shanghai, and do a good job in health monitoring.

4. Those who have lived in high, medium and low-risk areas for less than 7 days shall report to their village committees, units (or hotels) as soon as possible after arriving in Shanghai, and shall not exceed 12 hour.

5. People who enter public places with clear epidemic prevention requirements and take public transport must hold negative proof of nucleic acid detection within 72 hours.

(2) Persons entering Shanghai

The Office of the Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control in COVID-19 released a message: In order to further improve the epidemic prevention and control work in COVID-19, according to the relevant requirements of the novel coronavirus Prevention and Control Plan of the State Council Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism (Ninth Edition), the control measures for entry personnel will be adjusted as follows from 0: 00 on June 30, 2022:

1. For entry personnel, "7 days of centralized isolation medical observation +3 days of home health monitoring" shall be implemented. For the inbound destinations in the Yangtze River Delta, we will continue to implement closed-loop transshipment in the Yangtze River Delta.

2. Entry personnel shall conduct corresponding nucleic acid testing according to the relevant requirements of the state and Shanghai.

3. The above measures will be implemented from 0: 00 on June 30, 2022.

(3) Macao personnel coming to Shanghai and returning to Shanghai

The Office of the Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control in COVID-19, Shanghai issued a notice: According to the relevant requirements of epidemic prevention and control, Shanghai has further strengthened the health management of people coming to Shanghai from Macao or returning to Shanghai through Macao. The specific measures are as follows:

1. From 00: 00 on June 23rd, 2022, COVID-19 nucleic acid tests were conducted for those who came to Shanghai and returned to Shanghai with a history of Macao residence, including "7 days of concentrated isolation observation and 7 days of self-health management" (No.1, No.2, No.4, No.7, 10,10).

2. Those who have been to Shanghai and returned to Shanghai less than 7 days after leaving Macao should make up for "7 days of centralized isolation and 7 days of self-health monitoring". During the centralized isolation period, 1 nucleic acid test will be conducted (at least 2 nucleic acid tests with sampling interval of at least 24 hours), and double sampling and double test will be cancelled before centralized isolation.

3. Those who have been away from Macao for more than 7 days (including 7 days) but less than 14 days, shall be tested twice within 3 days after arriving in Shanghai (the interval between sampling is at least 24 hours, and the results of the two tests shall be observed at home before coming out of the oven), and self-health monitoring shall be conducted for 7 days.

4. Persons who stayed in Shanghai for more than 14 days (including 14 days) and returned to Shanghai after leaving Macao (the interval between two sampling is at least 24 hours, and the results of two tests are observed at home before arriving in Shanghai).

5. People who have lived in Macao since June 10 should report to their village committees and units (or hotels) as soon as they arrive in Shanghai.

Subsequently, according to the epidemic situation and prevention and control requirements, the relevant prevention and control measures for people coming to Shanghai and returning to Shanghai and Macao were dynamically adjusted.
