Our protest against the suspension of work and our resort to staying up late to escape our hopes mean that we can occasionally stay away from flexible hours.

Because before the savage exchange of holidays, we should at least enjoy the corresponding working days and holidays. Under rest, time is precious and can't be wasted at all. Although some student groups have closed classes, their holidays were "cancelled" on May 1 day, and they were even told that "classes will be closed on all Saturdays until summer vacation". Why do some workers have to rest in the face of the constant shutdown of factories? Some self-employed people have four days off a month, and the holidays are just for fun. Get up at four o'clock the next morning and go to work. Who dares to stay up late?

Besides, time becomes worthless and redundant. For example, sleeping for ten hours every day for fitness, long-distance travel, or even simply reading for a long time is unthinkable for middle-aged re-employment factory workers who just can't spare half a day to play on weekdays.

Time has become identity, symbol and wealth.

In classical times, there were stable differences under the stable work and rest at sunrise and sunset. For example, just a piece of cloth and a medal represents the identity difference between an entire family and an almost extinct peasant family. In modern times, the homogenization of modern society erodes everything, and time replaces cloth. The combination of work and rest has replaced the medal and become a new aristocratic temperament. Therefore, whether to rest or stay up late is just a choice difficulty, just a fictional difference, just a camp in the game. In fact, we are in the terminal stage of cancer, and we are stuck in hibernation. For a long time, some of us have fallen into a rest period, drifting out of the symbol system and completely losing the little margin of staying up late.
