What if Huawei Maimang 5 is locked?

The enhanced security system of Android 7.0 cannot change the screen lock password through the PC when the screen lock password has been set locally.

1. Please clear the screen lock password. When the USB cable is not plugged into the mobile phone, press and hold the volume increase button and the power button at the same time, release the power button when the boot screen appears, and release the volume increase button after 3 seconds to enter the recovery mode. After entering, select Restore Factory Settings and restart.

Note: After the factory settings are restored, the data in the mobile phone will be deleted.

2. Please confirm whether the search for my mobile phone is turned on.

If my mobile phone is not turned on, it will directly enter the system after restoring the factory settings.

If Find My Phone is turned on, continue with the following steps:

A: I have turned on "Find My Mobile Phone" and my Huawei account password.

Please follow the prompts to enter the correct Huawei account number and password (in case of WLAN connection), and follow the on-screen prompts to activate and enter the mobile phone.

B: I turned on "Find My Mobile Phone" and forgot the password of Huawei account.

You can log on to Huawei Cloud Service website (cloud.huawei.com) through your computer, and click Forgot Password in the login interface. After resetting the password, please use Huawei account and the newly reset password to activate and enter Huawei mobile phone.

C: I turned on "Find My Mobile Phone" and forgot the Huawei account number and password I retrieved when I turned on my mobile phone.
