1. Please confirm whether the icon of the application can't be found after the system upgrade, and whether the icon of the upgraded EMUI5.0 application disappears.

In EMUI 5.0, drawer style has been added. Drawer desktop allows applications to be stored centrally, making the desktop simple and clear, but it is possible that icons of some applications are not displayed. You can add an application icon to the desktop by adding an application shortcut icon.

A. Click the home screen to enter the application list.

B. In the application list, press and hold the icon of the application to be added until the phone vibrates, and then drag it anywhere on the home screen.

Note: There should be enough space on the home screen to put the application. If there is not enough space, please add the home screen first or release the home screen space.

2. After the upgrade, the application icon that comes with the system disappears.

In some versions, some models have been upgraded to EMUI 4.0, and the one-button screen lock icon has been deleted from the desktop, but you can change it in Settings. Open the floating button in the Smart Assistant. The floating button has a one-button screen lock function, or you can find the latest version of some models in the widget.

Upgrading to EMUI 4.0 removes the icon of cloud service application from the desktop and simplifies the entrance of cloud service function into the system settings, so the desktop is vacant. When you need to use this function, you can set the cloud service to enter this function. This adjustment belongs to the normal adjustment and optimization of the system, not the mobile phone problem. Please feel free to use.

If you find that the application icon that comes with a certain system is missing, you can first find out whether this function still exists in the mobile phone system through desktop search and setting the search function.

3. Please confirm whether the application icon can't be found on the desktop after updating the application.

If the original application icon is placed in the folder attached to the system and still exists in the folder after updating the program, please look for the corresponding program icon in the folder on the desktop, for example, put QQ in the social life folder.

You can also call the program through the quick search function on the desktop.
