Can China Unicom mobile phone be used for account protection when it is stopped?

Conditions for China Unicom users to apply for outage and number protection:

1. If the number is within the contract period, it is temporarily unable to apply for outage and number protection;

2. If the number is in abnormal status such as arrears, it can only be processed if the phone is turned on normally.

3. Only China Unicom postpaid users can apply for account protection during shutdown, but prepaid users cannot.

If you meet the conditions, China Unicom 2G/3G postpaid users (including postpaid wireless Internet cards) can apply for the shutdown and account protection/resumption service through the following channels, and the application will be effective immediately:

1. Log in to the online business hall/click to do business>stop and start services>stop and protect the number/restore the machine, select the corresponding type to handle;

2. After logging in to the mobile business hall client, click on service ＞Processing＞Business processing＞Stop to protect your account/restore your phone, select the corresponding type, click the confirmation button, and enter the SMS verification code sent;

3. Call the local 10010 hotline and provide the service password;

4. Bring valid documents to the local business hall for processing.
