Construction of Northwest Field Geological Work Management and Service System Based on 3S Technology
"Research and application of key technologies of field geological survey management and service based on 3S technology" is a special scientific research project of public welfare industry of the Ministry of Land and Resources, and the Development Research Center of China Geological Survey is the general undertaking unit of the project. Under the technical guidance of the overall project, the research and application group of 3S key technologies in Northwest China adopted advanced technologies and methods such as communication and positioning technology, network technology and grid technology of Beidou satellite system in China, actively carried out demonstration work of field geological work management and service grid node construction in Northwest China, established field geological survey information network based on Beidou satellite communication technology, and deployed field geological survey management and service system. Initially realize the three-level interconnection of "field personnel-field station -Xi' an central station". It provides an information channel for the management and service of field geological survey, and increases the coverage of the business network of Xi 'an Geological Survey Center, thus improving the management ability and service level of field geological survey of Xi 'an Geological Survey Center. Through the demonstration application in Xi 'an Geological Survey Center and two field workstations in Xining and Urumqi, a remote service grid node system and management platform for northwest field geological survey production scheduling, emergencies and emergency treatment are constructed, which provides a new mode of integrated geological survey management and service for northwest field geological survey personnel and managers, enhances the joint service awareness of Xi 'an Geological Survey Center, Urumqi Field Workstation and Xining Field Workstation, and comprehensively improves the comprehensive management ability and level of public welfare geological work.
1. Networking and deployment of northwest field geological work management and service system nodes based on 3S technology
The grid node of Xi 'an Center's field geological work management and service belongs to the secondary grid node of China Geological Survey. It is connected with the central node of China Geological Survey through two physical links: Beidou satellite system wireless communication network and China Geological Survey wide area network long-distance digital link dedicated line. At the same time, Beidou satellite communicates with two field workstations in Xining and Urumqi, and establishes a linkage mechanism to realize the four-level interconnection of "China Geological Survey -Xi 'an Geological Survey Center-Field Workstation-Field Station", so that field workers can communicate with management departments and service stations at all levels. The node system of field geological work management and service is shown in Figure 7- 1.

The field geological survey management and service network node system is closely integrated with the geological survey project management and service process, and has the functions of field personnel situation management, route tracking, nearby personnel search, short message broadcasting and mass sending, communication and positioning information query. , which can provide modern management tools for the collection, transmission, sharing, processing, feedback and decision-making of information data such as field geological survey and emergency support for all aspects of quality monitoring, inspection, management and service of field geological survey.
(1) Beidou Satellite Communication Group 2
The Beidou satellite communication network architecture of field geological survey generally consists of four levels: China Geological Survey center node, regional center management and service node, field workstation and field project station. Nodes at all levels adopt the communication technology of Beidou first-generation satellite navigation and positioning system to realize interconnection and provide efficient and convenient information channels for the management and service of field geological survey.
The construction of Beidou satellite communication network in northwest China mainly includes the deployment of Beidou central commander at Xi 'an central node, the deployment of Beidou ordinary commander at the project resident level, and the debugging of Beidou Bluetooth communication and positioning terminal at the user level. See table 7- 1 for Beidou satellite terminal equipment procurement, figure 7-2a for Beidou satellite communication network in northwest China, and figure 7-2b for Beidou satellite communication workflow.

Beidou center director is installed in Xi 'an center machine room, connected with Beidou antenna, used to receive Beidou satellite communication and positioning information, and connected with the server that stores Beidou information, monitors and manages Beidou user terminal information in northwest China, which constitutes the main hardware equipment of northwest field geological survey management and service node. Beidou general commander has high data security, strong stability, light weight and small volume, and is suitable for field engineering. Connect it through the serial port of notebook computer or desktop computer for supporting use. Beidou Bluetooth communication positioning module belongs to user-level Beidou terminal equipment, which has Beidou short message communication positioning function and no display screen. It needs to be used with PDA handheld computer or tablet computer through wireless Bluetooth technology, which is suitable for field geological survey workers.
(ii) Deploy Beidou communication positioning equipment.
1. Beidou central commander deployment
Beidou Central Command Machine (Figure 7-3) is a high-end product for managing user machines, which can monitor and manage 1000 Beidou user terminals. The modular design of the whole machine is convenient for the expansion of Beidou users and system maintenance in the northwest in the future. It has obvious advantages in data security, processing speed and stability.

The central commander of Northwest Beidou is installed in the computer room of Xi 'an Geological Survey Center, which is responsible for monitoring and managing the information of Beidou user terminals in Northwest China, and constitutes the main hardware equipment of the field geological survey management and service node in Northwest China. The specific deployment is as follows:
After the equipment was put in place in July of 20 1 1 year, the research group organized and implemented the installation and debugging of Beidou central director. The main engine of Beidou Central Command is installed in the computer room of Xi 'an Geological Survey Center (located on the 4th floor of the office building). The antenna of Beidou Central Command is 25m long, and the antenna receiver is fixed on the roof of the 7th floor of the office building (as shown in Figure 7-4). The elevation angle between the antenna of Beidou Central Commander and the building due south is less than 45. After the deployment, the beams of three synchronous satellites (East Satellite, West Satellite and Backup Satellite) of the Beidou first-generation satellite system can be received by the commander of Beidou Center, and the signals are stable, and the success rate of SMS and positioning operations reaches over 95% (Figure 7-5).

The hardware performance and technical parameters of Beidou central command instrument are as follows:

2. Deployment of Beidou general command aircraft
Beidou general commander is a user management machine, which can monitor and manage 100 Beidou terminal users. The equipment has high data security, strong stability, light weight and small volume, and is suitable for field engineering. But there is no display screen, so it needs to be connected to it through the serial port of notebook computer or desktop computer for supporting use. The schematic diagram of Beidou general director is shown in Figure 7-6.

This time, the research group purchased 1 Taibei Dou general command aircraft, which constituted the Beidou satellite communication networking equipment for field engineering. The erection of Beidou general commander is very convenient, and it can be completed within l0 minutes. Figure 7-7 shows the Beidou general director deployed by the research group in six regional dispatching projects of Altun1∶ 50,000 Dachaigou in Qinghai.

The hardware performance and technical parameters of Beidou general director are as follows:

3. Deployment of Beidou Bluetooth communication positioning terminal
Beidou Bluetooth communication positioning terminal belongs to user-level Beidou terminal equipment, which has Beidou short message communication positioning function and no display screen. It needs to be used with PDA handheld computer or tablet computer through wireless Bluetooth technology, which is suitable for field geological survey workers.
In this Beidou communication networking demonstration, the research group purchased 34 Beidou Bluetooth communication positioning terminal modules from relevant Beidou operating companies (Figure 7-8).

The research group selected four field geological survey projects in northwest China for Beidou network demonstration, including three regional geological survey projects and 1 geological disaster project. The research group and field staff tested the stability and positioning accuracy of Beidou communication, and jointly tested the compatibility and connectivity of Beidou terminal equipment of different Beidou satellite suppliers with the personnel of the field geological survey and application high-tech industrialization demonstration project based on China satellite.
The main features, performance indicators and other parameters of Beidou Bluetooth communication positioning terminal are as follows.
Main functions of (1)

2) The first capture time is ≤ 2s;
3) recapture time ≤1s;
4) Bluetooth transmission distance ≤ 10m.
(3) Structure size and weight
1) overall dimensions: length× width× machine height: ≤ 12 1mm×68mm×36mm (including included angle dimensions);
2) Weight: ≤ 0.5 kg;
3) Interface: RS232 interface and Bluetooth interface.
(4) Power supply
1) standby power consumption ≤ 2w;
2) Power supply mode: built-in battery; The standby time of power supply shall not be less than 10h.
Second, the management and service node system construction
The field geological survey management and service system runs on the communication network based on modern Beidou satellite communication technology, network technology and grid technology. The functional design of the system is closely combined with the business process of geological survey, which realizes the remote management and service of field geological survey in northwest China and changes the previous mode of geological survey information transmission and data exchange. The system platform is generally divided into three parts: GSIGrid Beidou emergency situation support system deployed in the regional computer room; DGSS(20 10) Beidou information monitoring module deployed in field workstations or project sites; Beidou function module of digital mapping field data acquisition system (RGM ap) installed on hand-held equipment of field geologists. The detailed process of installation and deployment of the field geological survey management and service system is as follows.
(A) GSIGrid Beidou emergency support system
The GSIGrdi field geological survey management service and support system of Xi 'an Geological Survey Center is embedded in the Xi 'an node of the original China geological survey information grid platform, and connected to the Beidou Center for command through the network to monitor and manage the Beidou information of subordinate cards in real time. It can realize the situation management of field geological surveyors and obtain the progress of field projects in real time. At the same time, the rich data resources of the central node can be used to provide query services for field workers and provide data support for emergency response management and decision-making.
The installation process of GSIGird Beidou emergency support system is implemented in two steps: Beidou information database installation and Beidou emergency support system installation. The installation and deployment process is as follows.
1. Beidou information database installation
Beidou information database adopts Oracle database, and the database version is O racle 10.2.0. Installed on the Beidou central command machine, the installation process is as follows.
(1)Oracle database installation
The database adopts O racle 10.2.0, and the installation and configuration process refer to the O racle database installation manual.
(2) Import Beidou database
First, copy the BDServer folder to the Beidou central command machine. The contents of the folder are shown in Figure 7-9.

Run BDServer.exe to open the interface as shown in figure 7- 10.
Select the "database instruction → database creation (O racle)" menu to pop up the dialog box as shown in Figure 7- 1 1.
Enter the password of the Oracle system user, create the user name and password of the new database, and select the Beidou information database prototype (. Dmp file), click OK to enter the DOS database import interface to complete the database import.
(3) Beidou database access
The database import was successful, and the database import completion dialog box pops up. Select the menu "Connection Settings → Open Serial Port" to pop up the dialog box as shown in Figure 7- 12.

The serial port is set to "serial port 2" and the protocol is set to "UART _ 40"; Enter the user name, password and connection address of Beidou information database, and click OK to open the following dialog box to complete the deployment of Beidou database. Figure 7- 13 shows the operation interface of Beidou database, and Figure 7- 14 shows the management interface of Beidou outfield personnel information base.
2. Install Beidou emergency support system.
Beidou emergency situation support system mainly includes real-time monitoring (positioning and communication) personnel information query, Beidou historical information query (positioning and communication), route tracking, emergency search and rescue, interactive communication, path analysis and other functions. 20 1 1 year 1 1 month, with the assistance of the Development Research Center of China Geological Survey, the Beidou application situation support system was installed and debugged, embedded in Xi 'an node of China Geological Survey information grid platform, and the selected server was Shuguang Tiankuo 620r.
For the installation method of Beidou emergency support system, please refer to the deployment manual of GSIGrid field geological survey management service and safety support system. The hardware performance, system resources and operation of the system are introduced below.
(1) system performance

(2) System resources
Data resources: VritualEarthData, China provincial tile data (clipline. HDF) and Oracle Bone Inscriptions database (Beidou. DMP);
Site resources: IGServer, system site (virtual earth Dotnet);
Software resources: O racle client/server with O racle 10g or more, GSIGrid field geological survey management service and safety guarantee system-information platform BDServer, and on-site configuration tool MVEConfigGuide of Beidou emergency support system.
3. Operation of Beidou emergency support system
After the Beidou emergency support system was deployed, the research team members tested and demonstrated the system functions. The system is running normally. The following is a screenshot of some functions. Fig. 7- 15 shows the management interface of Beidou emergency situation support system, fig. 7- 16 shows the personnel list in northwest China, fig. 7- 17 shows Beidou SMS monitoring (emergency rescue demonstration), and fig. 7- 18 shows the movement track tracking of Beidou terminal (in Zhashui County).

(2) Deploy the DGSS(20 10) Beidou information monitoring module.
The DGSS Beidou information monitoring module is integrated into the digital geological survey information integration platform (DGSInfo), installed on a server or laptop, and connected with the Beidou general director through a serial port line to form a software system of field workstation or project resident field management and service node. At the same time, it has all the functions of Beidou Bluetooth module and some functions of Beidou emergency support system.
The notebook model selected by the research group is IBM T6 1, which is connected with Beidou general command machine through serial port line to complete the field management and service node system construction at the resident level of the project. And through the mineral prospect survey project in Shanyang County, Qinling Mountain, Shaanxi Province, the Qingshizui District1∶ 250,000 Bashkurgan Sheet (J46C0010), Mangya Town Sheet (J46C00200 1) regional geological survey (revision) project,

2. Connect Beidou equipment
After installing DGSS Beidou information monitoring module, it is necessary to connect the notebook computer with Beidou general commander through serial port. Since IBM T6 1 does not provide serial port, the research group needs to convert serial port into USB connection. The specific operation steps are as follows:
1) Install USB serial line driver;
2) Open Beidou equipment and connect it with PC through USB interface;
3) Open the device manager (right-click my computer or search in the control panel), find "USB SerialP ort" as shown below, and set its serial number (the serial port selected in this demonstration is COM 4), as shown in Figure 7- 19.

3. Visit Beidou General Command Machine
Enter the DGSInfo system, select the menu "Beidou → Open Serial Port" in turn, and select the serial number corresponding to the Beidou equipment to be connected for connection. The port selected by this network demonstration group is COM 4. Click "OK" to enter the DGSS Beidou information monitoring module. As shown in figure 7-20.

Application of 4.4. DGSS Beidou function
After the deployment of DG SS Beidou information monitoring module, the research group entered the information base of outfield demographers, and comprehensively tested and demonstrated the functions of the system in the work area where four outfield demonstration projects were located. After testing, the communication between the system and Xi 'an central node is normal, and it can effectively monitor the information of its subordinate cards. Figures 7-2 1 to 7-23 are screenshots of system operation.

(iii) Deploy RGMap Beidou function module.
Beidou function in digital mapping field data acquisition system (RGMap) is suitable for field workers and runs on PDA. The system supports the Beidou Bluetooth mobile module and most kinds of Beidou mobile integrated machines (screen size and operating system should meet the requirements), in which the Beidou Bluetooth module is connected with the program through the Bluetooth function, and the Beidou module in the integrated machine is directly connected with the program through the serial port. Why are the models of handheld devices equipped in this demonstration the strongest brainstorming M 758 (Figure 7-24) and Getac PS535FC- 1 (Figure 7-25)? The specific deployment and application of the system are as follows.

1. running environment
The operating medium of RGMap system is PDA, and the operating system is Microsoft Window Mobile series, and the screen size is larger than 3.5 inches. Because of the different operating systems and screen sizes of various models, RGMap is suitable for different versions of operating systems, and the operating system versions of handheld devices selected by the research group are as follows;
1)W windows mobile 6.5, model: brainstorming M758:
2)W windows M obile 6.2, model: Getac PS535FC.
RGMap program installation: copy RGMap(WM6) program to PDA. The field hand map data generated by DGSInfo system is copied to the "M y Documents" directory of PDA. For specific operation, please refer to the Operating Guide of Geological Survey System (Volume I) (Volume II).
2. Connect the Beidou Bluetooth module.
First, enter the Bluetooth program setting interface on PDA, search the Bluetooth number corresponding to Beidou Bluetooth module, and then perform Bluetooth pairing (the Bluetooth pairing password of Beidou Bluetooth module is 8 zeros), and establish a "sending port" (that is, COM port) for Beidou Bluetooth module, which is the COM serial port for RGMap Beidou function module to access Beidou Bluetooth module. The connection process is shown in Figure 7-26.

There are two points to note when connecting the Beidou Bluetooth module:
1) When establishing COM, it is recommended to cancel the "Secure Connection" option, otherwise the Bluetooth signal will be easily interrupted during use;
2) A COM port can only be connected to one Bluetooth module, and this connection cannot be deleted. Due to the limited number of COM ports on PDA, when PDA is connected with Beidou Bluetooth module too much, it will cause the phenomenon that "sending port" cannot be established (the solution is to restore the operating system of PDA). It is suggested to paste the Bluetooth number of Beidou Bluetooth module on the back, which is the only Bluetooth number corresponding to PDA, so as to avoid the inability to establish the "sending port" due to chaotic use.
3. Application of 3.RGMAP Beidou function
In Qinling Mountains, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Xinjiang and other places, the research group conducted comprehensive tests and demonstrations on other functions of Beidou, such as short message sending and receiving, safety report, distress alarm and RGM ap positioning, and mastered the application technology of each function. Figure 7-27 shows the practical application interface of RGM ap Beidou module.
