Beijing University of Technology's experience sharing in resource environment and circular economy postgraduate entrance examination?
First, about choosing schools and setting majors.
① My undergraduate major is resource recycling science and engineering, which is an interdisciplinary subject. There are relatively few universities with this major in China. My undergraduate course covers a wide range, including chemistry (organic, inorganic, physical and chemical, analysis, etc. ) and environment (introduction to environmental science, introduction to resource recycling science and engineering, etc. ). The undergraduate course is relatively general, so the postgraduate entrance examination allows us to specialize in a certain field and learn deeper knowledge in a certain direction. Moreover, the number of graduate degrees is increasing day by day, and the country is gradually expanding its enrollment. In the third year of high school, there was a "postgraduate entrance examination tide" among the students around us.
Because I have studied chemical knowledge and environmental knowledge in undergraduate course, I should try to be close to these two aspects and choose one of them when I choose my major for postgraduate entrance examination. Personally, I don't like chemistry very much, so I want to take a subject similar to this major when I take the postgraduate entrance examination. Through consulting the seniors who went ashore to take the postgraduate entrance examination in the past, I learned from their exchanges that Beijing University of Technology has an academic postgraduate master's degree, whose major is resources, environment and circular economy, which is very similar to my undergraduate major, so I decided to apply for this major.
(3) After setting up the school and major, go to search the graduate enrollment network of the school and go to official website. Because official website will keep the information such as the initial examination, re-examination and admission list of graduate students in recent years, so as to facilitate the inquiry and be clear at a glance. I applied for the major of resources, environment and circular economy in Beijing University of Technology, with the code of 0805J2. You need to pay special attention when you look at your major: because this major is an interdisciplinary subject, it is divided into two directions, one is engineering, that is, you will be awarded a master's degree in engineering after graduation, and the other is economics, that is, you will be awarded a master's degree in economics after graduation. The engineering direction code is 0805J2 and the economics direction code is 0202J 1. Because I am an engineering major, let me briefly introduce the basic situation of the engineering major: in recent years, the number of students enrolled in the engineering major is about 8 (including students who are exempt from exams) every year, but basically no students who are exempt from exams come to this major every year, so basically these eight people are admitted through preliminary examination and re-examination. Every year, the re-examination score line is the engineering national line, which means that you can enter the re-examination if you cross the national line, and everyone knows that the engineering national line is very low, which shows that it is relatively easy to enter the re-examination.
In addition, because this major is relatively unpopular, there are fewer undergraduates studying this major in China, and the number of people entering the preliminary examination is basically less than 8 each year. For example, in 2022 (this year), only four students volunteered to enter the re-examination, so these four students will be admitted after the re-examination, because they do not meet the planned enrollment (8 students), and the other four will be admitted through annual adjustment. In addition, the preliminary subjects of this major are politics, English I, Mathematics II and specialized courses.
Second, the initial experience.
1, Politics: I took the preliminary examination for graduate students (202 1 graduate students) at the end of February 2020, so I began to review for the postgraduate entrance examination in 2020. Politics is my late subject, because in my opinion, English and mathematics are more important, so I started politics later. Politics was officially reviewed in July 2020. First of all, since July, I have been watching Xu Tao's online classes every night, with two online classes every night, and bought 1000 questions from Xiao Xiurong. After watching the online class every night, I use a pencil to make multiple-choice questions to consolidate my knowledge. Because the political multiple-choice questions have a large score of 50 points, it is necessary to practice multiple-choice questions more.
About two months, until the beginning of September, after reading all the online classes, I basically brushed multiple-choice questions. At this time, I erased the multiple-choice questions I had done before with an eraser and did it again by myself. On the one hand, it consolidates the knowledge, on the other hand, it checks for leaks and fills gaps, and learns new things by reviewing the past. By the time of 165438+ 10, I had brushed the question of 1000 three times. By 65438+February, I started to buy Xiao 4 and small 8, mainly for multiple-choice questions. As an exam, I recorded my score and tested my effect. Half a month before the exam, I began to recite the big questions of Grade 4, and recited the templates and rhetoric of those big questions.
2. English: My English foundation is relatively weak, so I began to recite words in early March. I just started to buy love stories, and I began to recite two pages a day, mainly based on high-frequency vocabulary. It should be noted here that English for postgraduate entrance examination requires you to write only composition and translation, so it is called memorizing words. I think it's enough to know as long as you see this word. It's not necessary to write every word. I bought the 20-year postgraduate entrance examination questions from 2000 to 2020. There is no listening in English for postgraduate entrance examination, and the most important thing is reading. Scores are the biggest part, so they are very important.
At first, I read the article of 1 every day, recorded the words I can't, and looked them up to see what they mean. If you do more, you will find that some words appear frequently, so it is very useful to remember them. In this way, I continued to read for 20 years, then erased it with an eraser and brushed it again. You will find that whether you brush it twice or three times, there will be mistakes. At this time, you can sum up your own experience, or you can watch Mr. Tang Chi's online class. After waiting for two months (11/65438+February), I began to focus on composition and translation, and the time for English postgraduate entrance examination was tight, so cloze was put at the end; Because it takes time and the score is low. In short, the most important thing is reading, in fact, composition and translation, and finally cloze. I just passed CET-6 that year, so it is still useful.
3. Mathematics:
Mathematics is a very key subject, the score of mathematics can widen the gap, and good mathematics can also make up for the shortcomings of its weak subjects. So mathematics should be the most time-consuming subject from the beginning to the end of the final preliminary examination, and the time I spend on mathematics accounts for almost half of the total review time. As for the exercise book, I have done most of the questions of Tang Jiafeng 1800 and Zhang Yu 1000 because I think I have a good foundation in mathematics and I started reviewing earlier, so I have discussed them frequently. Tang Jiafeng's questions are well classified and suitable. They are divided into basic articles, promotion articles and real articles, which are suitable for those with poor foundation who are willing to slow down and do not pursue speed. Zhang Yu's topics are mostly novel, which is why everyone said that they are suitable for those students who have a good foundation, are in the intensive sprint stage, or want to get high marks. According to the experience of her senior sister who went ashore in ta, lin li's 880 questions are reasonable in difficulty and very suitable for the basic and intensive stages. Li Yongle's 660 questions are very detailed and slightly more difficult, which is suitable for intensive reading.
As for math classes, I feel that video classes are a bit time-consuming for me because most of them are self-revision. I spent most of my time brushing questions, and a set of real questions has been kept for almost two days since the summer vacation. After I finished, I seriously reflected on my own shortcomings and continued to brush the exercise books that I forgot and didn't know the knowledge points. It doesn't make sense to just attend classes without doing problems and summarizing. You may feel that you know everything in class, but you will feel familiar when you start to do the problem, but your thoughts are not clear and your knowledge points are vague, so you won't get the problem at all.
The final simulation volume must be made. You can choose how many simulation volumes to make according to your own time and ability. I have achieved lin li's 4+6, Zhang Yu's 4+8, and Polytechnic University's * * * innovation transcendence. First of all, Li Lin's simulation question is necessary and the closest to the real question. Zhang Yu's 4+8 is difficult and may hit many people's self-confidence. The thesis of He Gong University is moderately difficult and worth doing. It is relatively difficult to surpass the thesis. Tang Jiafeng's simulation paper has too much calculation, and the topic is old-fashioned, so there is no way to do it, but students with poor calculation ability can try to do it.
Because the mathematics syllabus has been changed since 2020, the proportion of small questions has become larger, and the error rate of people choosing to fill in the blanks cannot be high. The mathematics of 202 1 is relatively simple. I chose to fill in the blanks because I didn't look at the questions and calculate carefully, and I made three mistakes. The final result was not as good as expected, so everyone should pay attention when choosing to fill in the blanks and try not to make mistakes. Give math at least four or five hours a day, keep brushing the questions and keep the feeling of doing them.
4, professional courses:
Because environmental resources in Beijing University of Technology is an interdisciplinary subject, my major is actually more inclined to economics, so I took Math 3 and Resources and Environmental Economics.
From March to June, I first watched Gao Hongye's Macro and Micro, and I listened to it 2-3 times in each class. Preview before class, the teacher will talk about the schedule of each class, and read the corresponding chapters of Gao Hongye first. After the lecture, I will review after class, then do the after-class questions, and at the same time do Yin Bocheng's multiple-choice questions. Every two or three days, I will watch the course again at 1.5 or twice the speed, which is equivalent to reviewing. At this stage, my focus is on mathematics, so I don't do any more professional courses (the experience of blood and tears tells us that there are still many hardships when the span is too big). The middle and late June is the final exam, and I completely stopped studying professional courses. When I started school again in July, I regretted it very much and felt that I had forgotten too much, so everyone must strive for uninterrupted study. If there is not enough time, it is ok to watch it for only one hour a day.
From July to September, strengthening began. At this stage, I also began to read Pindick and Donne Bush's textbooks, tracking the reading progress, and I understood all the handouts. Another digression, I regret going home for half a month in July. At that time, I felt sorry for myself every day at home and often couldn't help playing. After playing, I blamed myself extremely and felt that I would fail in the exam. I'm very nervous, but I'm not in good shape. In those days, I basically slept after 12 o'clock at night and didn't have to wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning. Back to school, I found a lot of postgraduate entrance examination troops in the library, and suddenly I was particularly at ease, not anxious and efficient. So I suggest that you don't go home, and it is best not to go home. Of course, students with strong psychology and good self-control can ignore this article.
Closer to home, this period of time is mainly about understanding intermediate textbooks+after-school questions. In addition, if I have spare time, I recommend doing Yin Bocheng's Green Paper well. If the reference book is Gao Hongye and Dick Peace, you can use this book when you choose short answer calculation questions in the exam. The multiple-choice questions and short-answer questions are well done (I should have done these two questions twice in the end, and I can also look at the analysis questions when I have time).
Third, the second interview experience
Beijing University of Technology scored 300 points in re-examination, which was divided into English, experiment and comprehensive interview, and ranked according to the initial test results. Because the second interview of 202 1 is still online, both English and experiment are 50 points, mainly depending on the comprehensive interview. 202 1, the proportion of people who entered the second interview was 1: 1.3, and 130 people were admitted, so as long as the initial test results were ok and the second interview was not too bad, it would be no problem. English includes English self-introduction, reading and translating two paragraphs in a professional English article. The experiment is that the teacher asks two experiments related to the major and describes the principle and process of the experiment orally. The comprehensive interview includes preparing a PPT self-introduction for two or three minutes, and then the teacher introduces himself and asks questions.
In addition, for the students who rank 30% after the interview, there will be a second comprehensive interview the next day. When the party is over, they will send a text message saying that they need two sides, because everyone will be nervous, which is equivalent to giving the students who rank lower a second chance. As for the comprehensive interview results of double-sided students, one side and two sides are divided into average. Therefore, the second interview of Beijing University of Technology is still very fair. Everyone must be sincere in the second interview, not too exaggerated. If they encounter unsatisfied problems, they can explain the situation and ask the teacher to change the topic.
The basic content of the second interview is the basic content of the postgraduate specialized course, so I won't introduce it too much here. As long as there is no problem in the preliminary examination of professional courses, the problem in the re-examination of professional courses will not be too big. In addition, you should be prepared to introduce yourself in both Chinese and English, and the teacher will ask you some basic contents and principles. Also, I will ask some questions about your future plans and so on. As long as the attitude is correct and the language thinking is clear, there will be no problem in the second interview.
Fourth, the encouragement of schoolmates.
Postgraduate entrance examination is a protracted war and a high-intensity marathon. Don't compare yourself with others. You have your own review plan and go your own way. God won't let everyone who works hard down! Come on!
Finally, I hope you must pay attention to your health during the preparation for the postgraduate entrance examination, especially during the examination. If you catch a cold or something, it will also affect the examination status. If everyone's goal is high, we must maintain a stable mentality, don't compare progress with others, review bit by bit according to our own progress, and don't be influenced by others. We must stick it out. Every year, many people give up the exam halfway. Since you have chosen the postgraduate entrance examination, you must stick to it until the exam is finished. I think as long as we stick to it, we can finally go ashore. I hope everyone can think so, too, and make it ashore successfully!
