Today, we gather together to celebrate beijing ditan hospital's 60th birthday. First of all, please allow me, on behalf of beijing ditan hospital, to extend a warm welcome to all the leaders and guests present at the meeting!

Beijing ditan hospital was founded in 1946 03 1, formerly known as Beiping Infectious Disease Hospital; 1949 was renamed Beijing Infectious Disease Hospital; 1959 was renamed as Beijing No.1 Infectious Disease Hospital; 1970 moved to Gansu; 1973 Reconstruction in the original site; 1989 changed its name to beijing ditan hospital.

In the early days of the hospital, Wu Bin, Tian Baoxin, Zhang Youbo and Cui Zhenyu, founders of epidemiology in China, gathered here. At that time, * * * had 59 employees, with beds 100, and treated patients with various infectious diseases.

Through the unremitting efforts of several generations of Ditan people, the hospital has developed into a specialized infectious disease hospital with advanced management, standardized operation, complete disciplines and remarkable professional characteristics, which integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, discipline construction and personnel training of infectious diseases.

At present, the hospital covers an area of 34,000 square meters, with a building area of 28,000 square meters and 500 beds. Annual outpatient volume 135505, annual hospitalization volume 5624. There are 703 employees, of which 87.48% are professional and technical personnel. The characteristic departments are hepatology, infectious disease treatment center, obstetrics and gynecology, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and comprehensive department, among which integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine and AIDS specialty are municipal key disciplines.

In recent years, according to the guiding ideology of "focusing on specialties, focusing on small synthesis", the business structure has been adjusted, and from the medical needs of patients with infectious diseases, obstetrics and gynecology and surgery have been developed and expanded successively, and the ENT department has been established to provide comprehensive medical services for patients with infectious diseases.

Treating liver disease is the biggest feature of our hospital. Participate in the rescue of severe hepatitis, antiviral treatment of chronic hepatitis B and hepatitis C, etc., at the leading level in China. Endoscopic vein ligation, percutaneous transhepatic portal vein embolectomy, TIPPS, blood purification and liver transplantation were performed. The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine has done a lot of fruitful work in treating liver diseases, AIDS and respiratory infectious diseases.

Infectious disease diagnosis and treatment center has accumulated rich experience in differential diagnosis of fever, rash, jaundice and various central nervous system infections. It is at the advanced level in China in the clinical research and rescue treatment of Japanese encephalitis, the treatment of measles, fulminant meningitis, toxic shock caused by infection and the rescue treatment of severe hemorrhagic fever with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.

Up to now, the AIDS Clinical Research Center has treated more than 900 HIV-infected people and patients from all over the country. Take the lead in integrating with the international community and apply cocktail antiviral therapy to standardize AIDS treatment.

Obstetrics and Gynecology Department has done a lot of clinical and scientific research work in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B and AIDS, and the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B can reach over 95%. He has accumulated rich experience in rescuing pregnant women with acute fatty liver, severe pregnancy-induced hypertension and pregnancy complicated with acute severe hepatitis, and the success rate of rescue is in a leading position in China.

During the 60 years of development, our hospital has played an important role in the control of major infectious diseases, the response to public health emergencies and major activities in Beijing. When smallpox, tuberculosis, measles, poliomyelitis, diphtheria and other infectious diseases prevailed in the early days of liberation, Japanese encephalitis prevailed in the sixties and seventies, hepatitis A prevailed in the winter and spring of the nineties, and hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome prevailed many times, it shared the worries for the government, solved problems for the people, and successfully completed the task of treating patients with infectious diseases. He undertook the medical security work for the Asian Games, the Far South Paralympic Games, the 2/KLOC-0 Universiade, the World Women's Conference and other major events.

After the outbreak of SARS in 2003, Ditan people fought bravely in the front line of fighting SARS. 143 days later, they became the designated hospitals with the longest persistence, the heaviest patients and the most special patients. In 2004, our hospital undertook the task of treating SARS again, and achieved good results of zero death of patients, zero infection of medical staff and zero infection of other inpatients.

The hard work of the staff in our hospital has been fully affirmed and encouraged by the party and the people. The hospital has won many collective and individual honors. Among them, Li Xingwang, Jia Shuangping, Wang Jinjing, Chen Zheng, Wang Kerong and Guo Limin won the National May 1st Labor Medal and the Nightingale Award.

It will become the center of diagnosis, treatment, scientific research, teaching and training of infectious diseases in China, an important part of Beijing's public health system, and play a greater role in protecting people's health and maintaining social stability in the capital.

60 years of historical accumulation has laid a good foundation for the development and construction of our hospital.
