How to backup and restore OPPO mobile phone

If you are using an OPPO mobile phone (Color OS system) and need to back up your mobile phone information and data, you can refer to the following methods:

1. Cloud backup

ColorOS's cloud backup is very comprehensive. Now you can not only back up comprehensive data such as photo albums, contacts, text messages, call records, audio, documents, system settings, etc., but also back up your WeChat chat data.

Go to "Settings > Cloud Service > Full Machine Backup", check the photos, music, documents, WeChat chat history and other data that need to be backed up in "Set Backup Data Type", and select "Backup Now" , back up data to the cloud.

Notes:

① The same device can support manual backup and automatic backup and retain 3 successful backup records respectively. After the super buffer exceeds the limit, you need to choose to delete the old backup record during manual backup, and automatic backup will overwrite the oldest backup record.

② Considering that using mobile phone data network for cloud backup will consume a lot of data traffic, it is recommended to use cloud backup to backup or restore when connected to WLAN.

③When backing up or synchronizing your phone, please make sure your phone has sufficient power. If the battery level is lower than 20% in the uncharged state and the battery level is lower than 10% in the charging state, the mobile phone data cannot be uploaded to the cloud.

④If the cloud space capacity is insufficient, data will not be uploaded. When your storage space is insufficient, you can increase the cloud space size by upgrading the cloud space, or free up storage space by removing stored content.

Restore data:

It is very simple to restore data from the whole machine cloud backup. Go to "Settings > Cloud Service > Whole Machine Backup > Restore Data" and select the backup you want to restore. Record and click "Start Recovery" to restore the data to the current phone.

2. External storage

Local backup is to back up data in the memory card of the mobile phone. The location is in the backup directory of the memory card. Restoring to factory settings and erasing all data will delete the backup. material.

1. Enter the mobile phone "Settings > System Settings > Data Backup and Migration";

2. Enter "Local Backup > New Backup";

3. Select the data you need to back up and click "Start Backup" to back up your phone data. The backup storage path is "File Management > Phone Storage > Backup > Data". The backup will take a certain amount of time. Please do not restart or turn off the phone during the backup process to avoid data loss on the phone.

For ColorOS versions below 11, the backup storage path is "File Management > Mobile Storage > Backup > Data".

For ColorOS 11 and above, the backup storage path is "File Management > Mobile Storage > Android > data > com.coloros.backuprestore > Backup > Data".

Recover data:

When you accidentally delete an important file, you can open "Settings > System Settings > Data Backup and Migration > Local Backup" to find the backup record containing the file , restore the phone to the backup state, and retrieve this file again.

Note:

When you double-clean the machine or erase all content and settings to factory status, the local backup data will be cleared. Therefore, it is recommended that you copy the backup file to an external storage device or computer before operation.

3. Back up to computer

The data backed up through "Data Backup and Migration" is stored in the phone's storage. When the phone is restored to factory settings or flashed, the backup will be cleared. Data, at this time, we need to copy the backup file to external storage or computer equipment before operation.

After backing up the data in "Data Backup and Migration", connect your phone to the computer with a data cable, and follow the prompts to select "Transfer Files" on the phone screen.

For versions below ColorOS 11: Go to "My Computer > Corresponding Devices > Internal Shared Storage Space" on the computer and copy the "Backup" folder to the computer desktop or other location.

ColorOS 11 and above: Go to "My Computer > Corresponding Devices > Internal Shared Storage > Android > data > com.coloros.backuprestore" on the computer and change the "Backup" folder Copy to your computer desktop or other location.

Recover data:

1. Copy the backed up mobile phone storage "Backup" folder on the computer to the phone's "internal shared storage space" (Android ＞ data ＞ com .coloros.backuprestore)", if there is a file with the same name, just overwrite it.

2. Go to "Mobile Settings > Other Settings > Backup and Restore" to view the backup data.

Notes:

① Do not modify the name of the "Backup" folder stored on your phone.
