Edong Vocational and Technical College is located in Huanggang City, Hubei Province. It is the first batch of "national key construction demonstration schools" awarded by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance, and has been awarded "national advanced unit of vocational and technical education" by the Ministry of Education and other five ministries and commissions. It is an ordinary higher vocational and technical college approved by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Hubei Province in April 2004 with document E Zheng Han [2004] No.70. Its predecessor was Huanggang Industrial School founded in 1976. The College is located in Huanggang City, Hubei Province, a famous hometown of education in China, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment. It is adjacent to Dajingjiu in the north, the Yangtze River and Ezhou across the river in the south, Wuhan in the west and Jiujiang in the east.
