Take a brief look at the charging suit, white adapter and red data cable in one plus 8T package. The color matching is very good, but it is completely different from the previous 30W suit.

In order to meet the private protocol 6.5A, one plus 8T data line is modified. What happens if we use a universal 5A cable? The actual measurement shows that it can run for 5 years and its power is above 42 W. ..

One plus 8T uses a 30W adapter widely equipped with one plus mobile phone, and the effect is a bit surprising. The current can only reach 3. 1A, and the total power is only about 15W.

One plus 8T combined with realme SuperDART adapter and Beth VOOC authorized data cable is a very mixed solution, which can still trigger 53W+ high-power fast charging, close to the original adapter. Similarly, the SuperVOOC 2.0 adapter can achieve the same effect.

One plus 8T will have periodic fluctuation of current when charging with PD adapter, which directly leads to the disorder of data curve. Nevertheless, it charges with PD much faster than 13W/ 17W PD of other mobile phones in Green Factory. I wonder if this problem will be solved in the future.

Finally, let's test QC, and trigger a fast charge with a peak value of about 17W, which is similar to other "Green Factory" dual-battery mobile phones.

One plus 8T adapter is special enough, so we also use it to test the compatibility of other devices when charging.

First look at the protocols supported by this adapter. We can see that it supports 45WDPD and 3.3- 16V3PPS, which are relatively routine operations in terms of parameters.

Several SuperVOOC/SuperDART have been tested, but the newly launched realme X7 Pro has not successfully triggered high-power fast charging, and the current is only 3A. However, this compatibility problem can usually be solved by upgrading the phone firmware.

Test the same brother plus 8 Pro again, and successfully trigger the 30W flash charging, which proves that this adapter is backward compatible with proprietary protocols. However, during the test, we will also find that some old mobile power supplies (such as SuperVOOC mobile power supply) can't trigger fast charging, and we can still count on OTA for the charging compatibility of mobile phones, so the compatibility problem between mobile power supply and charging head is more difficult to solve. After all, they are generally not allowed to brush firmware.

As a Type-C interface adapter that supports fast charging of PD, of course, we should also test its PD capability, and trigger high-voltage fast charging for the 100W mobile power supply that supports charging, with a power close to 42 W. ..

Use C-to-L data cable to charge iPhone 1 1 Pro Max, and trigger 22W PD fast charging. Of course, charging the latest iPhone 12 series is also a piece of cake.

Because one plus 65W adapter supports PPS, Samsung's flagship Galaxy S20 Ultra test was also added here, which successfully triggered 3PPS fast charging, and the peak power was close to 27W.

Generally speaking, one plus 8T and one plus Warp flash charging 65W adapters have good charging performance and compatibility. The only drawback is that one plus 8T seems to be not very friendly in supporting 30W private protocols. I hope this problem can be solved through OTA in the future. One plus 65W adapter not only supports OPPO/ One Plus /realme high-power fast charging, but also is compatible with PD/PPS, which is a good choice for multi-device users.
