How soon can I receive a subpoena after filing a case?

Legal analysis: the defendant may receive a copy of the complaint about 5 days after filing the case. Three days before the trial, you will receive a subpoena. In most courts, a copy of the complaint will be served on the parties together with the court summons.

Legal basis: Article 125 of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that the people's court shall send a copy of the indictment to the defendant within five days from the date of filing the case, and the defendant shall submit a reply within fifteen days from the date of receipt.
